Quick heads up, there's some new gameplay vids of DKC on IGN. It looks a lot better there than than it does in the latest trailer, imo. I wouldn't be surprised if the trailer was from a version a few months old and missing some shader effects.

Yeah it does look nicer than the trailer. The mine cart level they showed was really good. Nice to see some new ideas being used.

Yep. I imported the official one and it lasts much longer than the original. It's supposed to be out here now (along with the Wiimote battery and charger).

It looked beautiful when I played it at Eurogamer Expo.

Windwaker is now causing a row between 10 year old son (playing it) and 14 year old daughter (very keen to tell him how he's doing it wrong).

They don't show this kind of scene on all those "family playing on the sofa" adverts do they?

This reminds me of when me and my brothers first got hold of Link's Awakening on the Gameboy. The fights were legendary...

The battery is a piece of piss to install for anyone that's wondering. The screwdriver that you need comes in the box as well.

Mine turned up from Play Asia last week and I was surprised how easy the whole swap was. As you say having the screwdriver included meant no threaded screws.

Extra battery life is a plus when playing such an involved game as Zelda.

It's bad enough that my wife has stolen my 3ds to play AC NL on, but now my daughter has stolen my wiiu to play MY COPY of wind waker on.

I really do wish Nintendo would stop making amazing family friendly games and just start making COD clones. At least then I'd get a chance to play on their bloody consoles!
