I loved Toki Tori on the Wii but got really stuck later on, I'll give it another go for £1.69 though. It doesn't mention HD and what is Portal 2 ARG content?

Toki Tori was great, but there's a level in... "Halloween world" (?) where you physically can't move fast enough to do one of the puzzles. I was clearly missing something, but all the online guides said I was right and I was just too slow. So I gave up.

Steam versions of a bunch of games got Portal-themed extra bits to promote the launch of Portal 2, so I guess whatever that was for these games is getting included in these releases too.

The loading in Lego City is unacceptably slow, it doesnt happen all that often but its bloody awful - it takes a week to load and then you leave the station and another week to load, im also on a pretty snappy external hdd!

GTA5 blows it away in terms of size, gfx and load times so there is an issue with LC - still a good little game and over all i still love the wii u

I was going to hold off on getting a WiiU until the Monlithsoft game, but OMG Super Mario 3D World!!!!

So my little 3 year old nephew was over yesterday and whilst my sister was chatting with my dad me and him played New Super Mario Bros U. He's really taken to Mario and loves the game to bits, always wants to play it (which is great)

Anyway I was doing a level and it was a real bastard or at least I just having a real off day and it was annoying me. So I start a level and the Super Guide Luigi exclamation mark box is ringing so I think 'fuck it' and start it up and get Luigi to do the level. So I'm acting all cool and was like 'oh yes we're just using Luigi for this level' etc trying to impress my little nephew. So right before the end of level flag I assume control of Luigi and finish the level.

So I say to him 'ok I've finished that level'

His response 'No you didn't! LUIGI DID!'

He had noticed my hands on the pad didn't move and caught me red handed. Fuck. So much for being the cool uncle of the day.

His favourite character also seems to be by far and away the Big Boos. He absolutely adores them. So much so I've ordered him a Boo plushie which I hope he'll like. After seeing the trailer yesterday for 3D World I really can't wait to play that with him as well. He'll love it.

Quick question, my kids want a WiiU for xmas (and I will happily buy them one so I can play Super Mario 3D World on Xmas Day ) but I'm not sure what the deal is with the controllers. If they want to play two player stuff can I just but two of those Pro controllers for them or will one of them have to use the GamePad controller?

It took me over 40 minutes to download the update last night, and almost as long to install it I've heard the Wii U can download it automatically when switched off, but I always unplug my stuff when not using it.

My little boy made me play the Mario 3D trailer three times in a row last night. When cat Mario was chasing the birds away he looked at me and said 'daddy this is the best game I've ever seen'.

Remind him that you've lived a lot longer then he has.

Nintendoland is a good game and can be bought cheap.

Rayman legends is supposed to be good but I only played the demo.

Also if you love NSMBu then you can pick up the harder luigi version.
