Anyone else been playing Toki Tori 2?

I hated it when it came out, and stopped playing. Got back into it this week and I was so wrong - it's really, really good. And so difficult! I've been impossibly stuck so many times now, but find if I take a break for a few minutes the solution comes to me. Awesome game.

Nearing the end now, I think - I'm on the final Special Frog.

I finished it a couple of weeks after it came out.

My big complaint for the first few hours was that I had no idea why I was doing anything but when it opens up, it becomes a really good game. It's amazing how much mileage they get out of just two actions.

And just completed Toki Tori 2 :)

What was nice was the fact there was another guy running through it at the exact same time as me, and we kept posting on Miiverse where we were stuck and he's have just done the puzzle I couldn't, or vice versa. And another guy was helping us out.

Thing is, we both solved all the puzzles ourselves as soon as we posted to say we were stuck :)

It's not a particularly fantastic advert by any stretch but that's exactly what they should have had last Christmas.

They really need to sack their marketing team for their whole previous strategy.

EDIT: Actually, is that even being shown on TV?

The original Adam Buxton TV ads clearly stated "IT'S A BRAND NEW CONSOLE". You have to be fucking dumb not to know that by now. If Nintendo have convinced themselves that this confusion is the reason for poor sales then they need to wake up and realise this audience, the one that needs little things explained to them has moved on to Candy Crush and other simplistic garbage.

new advert with Rufus Hound...

Anyone else think this is a terrible advert? I mean I did a double take when he said it's " it's Tails to it's Sonic." Next we'll have Sonic Lost World advertising that it's like Mario Galaxy but a bit faster.

They big up stuff like inventory and maps (stuff Smartglass can emulate on the other consoles) and then just gloss over off tv play without actually showing anything.

I really wonder whether the new Wii fit will crash and burn. Why is this console even called Wii anything? It should be called Gamecube 2.

Looks like the team who did the art for that advert were unaware that Rufus Hound, famous for his handlebar moustache, had decided to shave it off on a whim or, perhaps, as an attempt to position himself as the prime candidate to play Fred Flintstone in the unlikely event that Universal Studios decides to make another live action Flintstones movie.
