Got a premium pack with nintendoland, mario u,lego city and zombi u for £235 of ebay.Second hand but its been looked after .Can say I am impressed.

Mario is as good as ever, lego city is good old fashion fun plus my 9 year old loves it.

Zombiu for me seems good so far but have only played half hour.

Picked up pikmin 3 friday looks stunning and plays great.

Anyone tired of monster hunter 3 drop me a line if the price is right.

Can anyone confirm the Pikmin 3 from game code / premium cashback / 30% off W101 thing works, please? I know there were conflicting reports - just want to know if its sorted now.

Nintendo Life confirmed it'll be sorted within a week or so with Nintendo UK.

Keep in mind that only 100 outlets ever stocked it in the first place. As for the online, I don't believe they've ever stocked a post-launch title, so this is just a case of a retailer that hasn't bought any new stock since 2012 running out at last.

Articles like the Eurogamer one really epitomise the shoddy state of gaming journalism to me. It's just lazy, and doesn't even attempt to provide any context.

Here's some context.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-07-31-nintendo-records-quarterly-profit-despite-abysmal-wii-u-sales

3 months.

10,000 sales across the whole of Europe and Australia.

Only 160,000 sales worldwide.

Explains why my local Sainsburys has replaced the entire Nintendo section (they never stocked the Wii U) with two shelf units of PS4 and XBone preorder boxes.

A better question would be "Why didn't Asda feel the need to restock?"

(I'm actually stunned by this.)

Also, has anyone had a USB hard drive that didn't work?

I've got one lying around and sods law it will be one that's not supported...

They'll all work, it's just a case of if you'll need a Y-cable in order to supply enough power or not. Personally, I'd say use a Y-cable just to be sure of no problems - you can get one for just a couple of quid from Amazon if you need one.

Yeah, but other sites confirmed the opposite with Nintendo UK. That's why I'm asking if anyone has done it themselves :)

Got this today:

Dear Craig,

Thank you for your email regarding the Pikmin 3 (30% off Wonderful 101) promotion.

In regards to your query, the offer is available to customers who purchase the Pikmin 3 software title through the Nintendo eShop (available from 26th July 2013) and pre-release date via download codes from high street retailers. Pikmin 3 has to be downloaded using the same Nintendo eShop account on the same Wii U console.

In relation to Nintendo Network Premium points, you are still eligible to receive your points. We are aware that some customers have not received their points and we are currently investigating this. Please allow 3 - 7 working days in order to reply with a resolution. Please rest assured that the points will be added as soon as possible.

We do hope that this information is of benefit to you. Should you require any further assistance in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Obviously a standard reply. I never even mentioned the Pikmin 3 / Wonderful 101 promotion in my message.

Does anyone have a pro controller (i think thats whats its called)?

Is it any good? What games benefit the most?

I have one. So far i have only used it for when the kids and I play Mario multiplayer. Is great for that, much prefer it to a sideways Wii Mote.

I considered it for tekken, I think fighting games will benefit. That in mind ill probably get one for smash bros unless Nintendo work their genius with another control method.
