Nintendo Wii U

You might be interested in this game called Runner 2...

I have it already. I just thought that level was the only good thing about the first Rayman demo.

System settings is still an insanely long 23 second exit, but that's apparently being addressed in the second part of the update due in the summer.

Also, you can now press A to enter an app, no need to use the touch screen.

You've always been able to do that.

Here's a change log from NeoGAF: http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=55534772

Very good.

I will get one eventually. It's inevitable. Just a shame they didn't sort out all this stuff before they launched. Especially for those families who bought at launch and aren't online. They're stuck with the shoddy bits.

I feel like I've been unwittingly lured into participating in a beta program, given the breadth of the issues. Barebones OS at launch, no problem, but the issues imply that it was rushed to market, which I think we all know. For the most part, it's not as heinous as Microsoft's excuse for the 360's early-years failure rate (although my Wii U had a faulty fan!) but it's still a case of a company failing to get the fundamentals down prior to release.

Fortunately I've the console enough to make up for its...quirks, but yeah, it'd have been nice for Nintendo to be open prior to launch about just where the OS stood; people would have rolled their eyes, but for the most part the honesty would have inoculated them against much of the bad press it got them in the gaming media.

Is that Rayman thing just the demo but with leaderboards?

The normal Rayman level is rubbish and Castle Rock is cute but completely boring and unchallenging compared to Runner 2 which it's doing a similar thing to.

The Murfy level is by far the best one, I hope there's loads of those in the final game.

I wonder if the Murfy levels will make it to the final game, given Microsoft's policy regarding exclusive on-disc content. Probably have to download them seperately, and hopefully on release day rather than as DLC further down the line.

todays challenge is a Murphy level and it's *really* good.... they've taken a lot of cues from Mario Kart Wii on how they deal with online leaderboards and stuff.

They'll just include the update on some Nintendo published game later, probably, for all of those offline launch day families eager to quit from Nintendoland to a sparse home screen faster than before.

So do we have a list of Nintendo Network IDs on here? I need some chums

I'm joffocakes! What I did was find a rllmuk person on Miiverse and look through their friends list to add folk. :)

the only way to play the Murfy levels on 360 would be through Smart Glass - and I wouldn't hold my breath.
