I don't know, but if this is going to be your argument then why did Sony sell less PS3s than PS2s? And why are they selling less Vitas than PSPs?

Do Sony have same fundamental problem they need to address with Orbis as well, or are the rules different for anyone that isn't Nintendo?

The online stuff is a pretty big buffer for Sony and MS, and Nintendo ignored it at their peril. Oh, and the PS3 still has games coming out for it, so people are still buying the machines.

A nitpick here, but the Wii U does upscale Wii games. What people want is the Wii U to render games at 1080p like the Dolphin emulator does.

Indeed. It made my eyes bleed. Any time I go to play Skyward Sword, I have to go into the TV settings on the Wii U game pad and adjust things to 480p, just to avoid the blinding blood

Like I said, it depends. So one isn't necessarily better than the other.

I haven't seen a Wii-U at all, so I'll reserve judgement. If it gives a better picture than the actual Wii blur-fest then that's great news.
