Launch day attachment rates (god I hated that term when working at Game) should be interesting, given the sparse Day 1 lineup.

I'm just going for Mario too (with ZombiU and Nintendoland bundled) TBH I can see this going the way of the Wii where I stick to platform exclusives and leave the multi-format stuff well alone.

Good. The meta-achievement thing is a fully established part of games now and developers would most likely be using without it being forced on them. Having a fixed system all games have to use like the 360 achievements is too limiting.

This way it's up to developers to add them in however they like, as they've done on the 3DS, and then they can tie into Miiverse for the sharing of achievements with friends. The only thing that's missing is a global gamer score and a way of browsing all of your or your friend's achievements outside of the games. No big loss,

So what's everyone planning to get?

I'm looking at Zombie U, Mario Bros U and Nintendo Land.

Nintendo Land, Mario and Scribblenauts for me so far, probably Nano Assault on the eShop too.

I had Assassin's Creed III and Rayman ordered but Ubisoft are cunts.

I don't bother with them on the PS3, and only really care about them on the 360 in certain games - Lego games, mostly. Not really sure I care if there's any or not.

While I think about it does the wii u premium pack come with a sensor bar? I can't see one in the amazon pics.

It's a shame nintendoland isn't a free game like wii sports was. It seems a lot of cash for what is effectively a multiplayer only game (by which I mean the vast majority of games aren't much fun on your lonesome).

It's much more substantial than Wii Sports, though. I thought a while back it should be a free pack-in, but that was before I played it.
