Has anyone found any nice cases for the game pad? Getting a bit sick of obsessively cleaning the thing for five minutes every time I pick it up.

Then don't? Unless you never wash your hands or something.

Yeah, attempted to log into Netflix last night but no joy. Gave up in the end and played Trine 2 which wasn't a good experience with the Gamepad, the pad is just to big.

So you want a smaller screen for a game that works best with a big touch screen?

Picked up Darksiders II for cheap from ShopTo just to have another game to play on the gamepad. I've gotten quite used to watching stuff on Netflix whilst playing some NSMBWiiU. I hope it's good.

Can't get over how well Miiverse just fits in with everything. I love just hitting the key and drawing a quick little doodle mid-play session. My skills aren't anywhere near what I've seen in some of the communities though.

There are some brilliant classic platforming levels in nsmbu, it could almost be super Mario world U.

That thought crossed my mind the other night, NSMBU is the SMW to NSMB's SMB 3 - if you'll pardon the sightly tortured analogy and overuse of acronyms.

Anyone had any problems logging into the Netflix App? Once I put in my email and password the App just keeps showing the loading circle!!

Other than that and the looooong update I'm very pleased with my Wii U.

If you go into your network settings manually and change the MTU value to 1350 it should work. I had the same problem as you and that sorted it.

How do you post pictures from within games on the Miiverse?

It's a bit weird. Go into miiverse when you want to 'take the picture' and write a message, you'll see a thumbnail of the screen. Not the smoothest function.

So when I'm playing something, I just hit the home button, select the Miiverse icon and write a message and this generates the picture currently on screen?

Yep, thats what I did - a straight swap at CEX a few weeks back. Didn't get on with Nintendoland at all - not my thing as I dont like mini games at all.

The Nintendo Land games are all surprisingly substantial. Most are still much smaller than what you'd expect from a standalone disk game.

They're all mini games. It's a mini game compilation used to show off the uses of the pad. That's not a bad thing. It's just what it is.

Yes, they are mini-games, however they're not all party games. You could get your money's worth from it without any friends. I can quite understand how it looses a lot of it's appeal though.
