Like Mike I'm thinking of grabbing one in the sales though yeah I doubt they'll be slashing the price of something so new just yet. There's one in our local indie shop for 199 quid but its a basic white 8GB. I doubt there's a better deal with a game though is there? Unfortunately they didnt have any wiiU games or else I'd do a haggle. Probably will go for mario or zombie U or both depending on deals.

Sorry for stupidity here chaps but I want to get Xenoblade but... What controller will work with wii games? I've not got an original wii but am planning on picking up the new wii mote would that work?

Wiimote and Classic Controller Pro.

Any wiimote should work, but motionplus games will need motionplus. For Xenoblade you can use a classic controller pro (and the special edition comes with one) but you still need a wiimote to connect it
