I loved the GameCube and my Gameboy Advance/Advance Wars machine, and my launch NDS.

However after selling my DS years ago and completely missing the Wii and focusing on 360/PS3 I have just rejoined the Nintendo fold with a WiiU AND a 3DS purchase.

I can't wait to start playing all the stuff I've been missing.:wub:

Oh yikes, fair enough. I downloaded the Pal version of SMB3 via the WiiU and hadn't seen borders like it since 1993. :(

I should explain, I have a US Wii with various games on that I wouldn't mind moving over. Doubt it'd work anyway, was just curious.

I have a US Wii as well, loads of VC and Wiiware games. I'm waiting to see what happens with the hack, because being able to play NTSC Wii games and have full use of the gamepad would be made of win.

Pick up Super Paper Mario. Play it until World 4. Trade it in and pretend that's as much game as there is.

Oh and you're going to get to play Super Mario Galaxy for the first time, I'm jealous of you. Might start them from scratch actually.

After months of religiously checking this thread and the agonising month since launch I finally join your ranks tomorrow. Giddy - yes giddy with the excitement and possibilities of Ninty magic. Not much can make an old man feel excited at Christmas but god bless you Nintendo... Catch you on the other side chaps.

Picked up Batman earlier (£28 for a sealed copy in CEX) and must say its awesome. Plays really well on the pad and although its gimmicky its nice using the pad for things like throwing batarangs and analysing areas with the scanner.

Nobody else seems to care about this and I do wonder if it was wise to release it. Still, I am enjoying myself even if I am the only one!

Gonna add some of you new guys from the spreadsheet before choosing whether to play Nana Asault / Trine2 / Mighty Switch Force / Tekken / Batman / Darksiders / Assassins Creed !!!

4 weeks in and this is definitely the most enjoyment i've had from a new console since the SNES!

A very very merry Xmas xii u muckers. Unwrapped one today and its glorious. Definitely worth the wait. Wasn't too appauled by the update time and while I've not had much of a chance to play yet everything seems to have at Ninty magic. Now I'm gonna work my way through the spreadsheet then hopefully get stuck in for a bit of mario...

Woo for gaming!!!!
