This is going to be the best thing ever, totally nailed it! Star destroyer in sand, x wings in atmosphere over water, more aerial awesome shit from the falcon inside a ship evoking memories of ROTJ, an awesome looking bad guy, "we are home", IMAX 3d!!!!! Somebody stop the Internet, I'm getting off!!!! Empire strikes back +100/10

Anthony Daniels will never not come across as a dick.

Yeah but neither will 3PO so that's fair.

First shot made me go "woah, awesome", and then a big smile all the way through. Punching the air by the end, looks fucking awesome. Even if the film's shit, they've delivered a minute and a half of fun.

Same, full grins all the way. I NEVER do that.

Looks great though, very evocative. As well as the big opening backdrop the second scene was surprising too, in that it was a bit grim. Not unprecedented in SW, but still. Quite cool.

Got a feeling the TIEs have been tweaked a bit too, but I cant place how.

It's the wings - used to be grey struts on black panels, now the panels look white/reflective. Also looks like the glass screen is mirrored.

I know there's a reason but I forget why.

Man, even Mel Gibson would've been able to fix his image if he had a historic role as Han Solo to fall back on. Instant get out of jail free card.

The moment Indy pulls out the gun and shoots the idiot has been branded on my subconscious. The man might have spent 20 years doing really rubbish stuff and looking like an utter misery, but he's still bloody brilliant.
