I don't think they'll blow the doors off until late summer/ autumn, trailer wise. The first teaser was picked over for months, they simply don't need to give too much away yet.

Or anymore that has already been leaked, like the whole story...

Looks like he's gearing up for the finale of a Busby Berkeley number.

EDIT: apologies, thought the original post was spoilered. Now fixed.

Things I learnt about Stormtrooper costumes on set that I'm probably allowed to say:

They have this weird jockstrap/frontspiece that comes undone almost every time they have to do anything even close to moving faster than walking. I spent much time kneeling in front of peoples crotches, giving them a reach around in order to reattach it.

The guns have built in lasers. You press the trigger, the laser comes on. I spent most of my time shooting at people with them when we weren't rolling. One time I fired one at John Boyega and he did a dramatic fall to the ground. Which made his jockstrap come off. Which I then had to reattach.

I like how low-key the redesigns are. Considering a lot of 70's era costumes were sub-cosplay levels of plasticiness some might have been tempted to go all out, but not these guys. Good for them.

Admittedly I'm not sure the new sith has quite the iconic levels of vader (as if anyone could), but it does still evoke a bit of the same space-samurai feeling with very little effort.

I'm still curious about the new DDs.

Something about the positioning of the stormtroopers and cruciform lightsabre man in the third poster makes them look like they're in the middle of a fabulous Busby Berkeley-style choreographed dance routine.

No more than the old ones, I dont think. If anything they seem to have a bit less mass overall down there.

What it might be is that they sweep up from each corner at a fairly sharp angle which makes them a bit more reminiscent of a jawbone. I hadnt really noticed until I went looking for it though.
