Star Wars: The Force Awakens

It was Luke's adolescent perception. Tatooine may well have been a remote desert planet, but if you're going to have a spaceport on such a world it might as well look bustling and badass. Another case of people trying too hard to hate the wrong aspects of the special editions.

Yep that's the indepth thinking that went into the special editions that make people love them so much.

If, or rather when, Episodes 7-9 return to previously seen locations, will they go to the OT version 40 or so years on, or the SE version 40 or so years on? Not sure which is considered definitive. Would be nice to see Mos Eisley have a new space lounge or shiny food court, because maybe a local developer stepped in and tried to spruce it up a bit.

It's a quiet day at work.

He was the founder of a universe that inspired a generation, he hired the right people to see it blossom, he had the business savvy to see it become a cultural touchstone...and here we all are.

Most of what came after 1983 was terrible, but I almost feel like a dick saying that anonymously on the internet cause it sounds like the overwhelming backlash had a genuine impact on him and he'd suffered depression and such throughout his life.

These days I guess he only has his billions of dollars and loving kids,

If I were George I'd constantly be using that to get my way.

"This pizza was supposed to come with free garlic bread."

"I don't think that..."

"Fine, fine. Oh, what's this? Now R2D2 is all CGI and speaks in text slang. It rhymes you know."

"You can't do that."

"Maybe I'm too hungry to think straight. Maybe C3PO is a Gungan now. Maybe some garlic bread would make me feel better."

"You monster."

I don't get the excitement, the gameplay looks total gash.

Yes its a prettier version of Rogue Squadron, but thats not a bad thing. I would imagine that sitting in the pod and playing with the music & sound effects would still bring a smile to the face of even the hardest Lucas detractors.

Not even that, the overall movement looks like it's pre-set (along with all the fancy manoeuvres and events) - there are plenty of times when the ship/bike is not even facing the direction of travel/movement properly. You aren't flying the ship, you're moving the targeting reticle.
