What I will say though is that if this is legit info, then it makes all the crying and pissing over a character's name being mentioned in a totally non-spoilery way previously in the thread even more hilarious, as it means that that was entirely bogus. Lolololol.

For those wanting a benign flavour of the spoilers: they name some characters that appear in the film (some of which you may have already suspected), they talk about the relationships between some of the named characters (some of which you may have already heard about or suspected), they cover a fair few plot elements (some of which you probably won't want spoiled), and they explain what's going on in a few scenes in the trailer, but they don't really reveal the story's resolution or the ultimate fates of any of these main characters.

And it all sounds great.

It basically spoils the first act. You'll see who the characters are, how they relate, and what their motivations are. But you won't find out much about how they pursue their aims or how this causes them to come into conflict, and you won't find out who, if anyone, succeeds in their goals, or how.

Well if you took it to mean that then I'm sorry, I didn't make it clear. What I meant was, it gives the same information as the first act of a normal film likely would. It doesn't describe the plot of the first act, it's more like a list of who everyone is and what they want. It's not a list of things that happen (although there are one or two "things that happen" bits in there too, come to think of it).

No, but seriously; I don't think any of those story beats sound similar to 'Star Trek Into Darkness' at all; they read more as a Star Wars version of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', if anything.

Blimey though, we moan about seeing too much of films and spoilers etc. nowadays but man, that tv show's decision to show so many major plot points was more questionable than referring to Billy D Williams as "the only black in the movie".
