They could have shown literally anything and people would go crazy for it, but it's sort of weird that Phantom Menace still has the best trailer of any of the movies.

I have since had a facebook discussion and have been convinced that the lightsaber crossguard would not in fact slice up your own wrists, even if you are doing silly Jedi twirls. I therefore retract this minor pedantic critiscism.

Re. the trailer overall. Hmmm, hard to say. I liked the X-Wings over the water. Stupid Light sabre (seriously, he'll do himself a mischief on those little sticky out bits). Has that JJ Abrams feel, which is to be expected I suppose. Doesn't really feel like SW to me, but it looks ok.

Trailer looks amazing.

The only slight misstep is the silly light sabre, but as that appears in a scene which has obviously been lifted wholesale from a section out of PS1 slash-em-up Bushido Blade, everything is forgiven.
