Even I think the shields were crap. He could force run from droidekas but not through the shields?

Luckily, Obiwan and Maul go at it hammer and thongs, with some of the best saber stuff in the films. But the repeated glancing at QGJs saber, the comical slow arc of his leap and then they 18 seconds that maul just stands there dumbfounded before Obiwan ignites the lightsaber is daft. Nothing wrong with the what they tried to do, it was just executed so poorly.

Says the man who enjoys the prequels, so you can trust me when I critique them.
