Looks like this has been released for PS3 (& presumably 360), £12.... anyone thinking of taking the plunge? I'm not usually much of an online gamer but every video I've seen of it just looks ludicrously good fun.

Dear me sometimes I wonder how some of you even manage to tie your own shoes...

Loads of sites have reported on this, rather glaring, fps difference and most in a tongue-in-cheek manner. And in most comments section people simply discussed as to why an older game like Chivalry managed to only run at 30fps on XB1 (core unlocked PS4, VRAM issues, etc).

Leave it to rllmuk to actually take something like "let the fanboy war being" serious. My god!

It's fine, but there was no need for a new thread and there was literally zero of worth to merge other than the video itself. Feel free to chat about it in here.

Edit, and I tend to favour shoes with fast-lace systems. Salomon do some nice outdoor walking ones. Great grip for hills and trails too.

Does anyone have the PS4 version? If so, are there a good number of people playing it? I want to buy this but I bought Counter-Strike: Global Offense for the X360 and I don't want to make the same mistake.

The Chivalry 2 beta is on this weekend (Epic store). Good to be back in the ol' Battlecry Simulator.

The beta is terrific fun and runs great on PS5 and Series X. Nothing like meeting the gaze of a single opponent amongst the chaos and engaging in a duel!
Some really fun interactions with the environment, you can throw severed heads and burning chickens!

All I remember about the first one is shouting URGURTHUR a lot.

Bit of gameplay on a 10-year old PC. This map is actually really massive, with another three stages the attackers have to get through before they finally get to the throne room and have to try to kill the king. We weren't all that successful though!

You can get this for under a tenner on xbox over at enbeba (VPN needed, I use a free one called Tunnel Bear) 

 

I have been using them for a while and saved a fortune. Might pick this up. Looks fun.

Er my copy of this turned up today? Seems bit early. Am I correct in assuming no servers will be running yet?

The servers are actually up to answer my own question. Not particularly well populated though, it's about 50/50 bots & humans. Hoping a tidy number turn up Tuesday! This is fantastic carnage even with bots.
