And swing your dick infront of Kinect.

What sort of windows login? I've got a microsoft online store xbox thing login that wont let me in for a month because i changed email address associated with it.

Right, I went and bought an IR blaster thing so I can control my TV and AV receiver because I don't have Kinect and I've set it all up but it doesn't work.

It's registering, because if I try the volume control on the media remote or switch the console off the IR LEDs blink.

I don't suppose anyone has any idea what I can do to sort it? The Internet isn't being very helpful at diagnosing the problem.

Weird, I was just talking to my brother about why Freeview looks so bad on his TV (explaining about sd looks worse on Hdtvs and need for a HD source) and I started looking for Freeview HD boxes as he won't be getting a TV with a Freeview HD tuner built in any time soon and I noticed this One Digital Tuner.

So it's got Freeview HD? The review seems very positive - what do people think of it? It would be great to add a HD source to his TV for £25.

So yeah what do people think of it? And is there any better option?

Thanks.

HD freeview on XO is rock solid for me - and somehow manages to get a better signal (and more channels) than my Panasonic viera.

Media remote not needed because of all the other control options, but works a treat in our house (lady doesn't like using the pad / forgets buttons etc).

Think software side it's just missing a 'remind/alert' function for shows imo.

Great. I didn't know about it.

I asked if there was any other better options because I find the proliferation of set top boxes and shit confusing.

But £25 for Freeview HD sounds great. Hes currently watching the Freeview SD built into his Samsung TV and it looks rubbish as you'd expect.

I've read 4 reviews and the thing that seems to be missing currently is the ability to record TV.

Yeah, no TV recording as yet, but you can pause/rewind/ff, and it also pauses what you're watching if you decide to have a quick blast on a game, putting you right back where you left it when you go back to TV.

The interface for it all is pretty good as well.

It's allowed me to finally ditch my Sky box, so it's defintely recommended from me, especially at £25.

I want it for Freeview HD. At some point my mum may get Netflix for steaming stuff.

Speaking of sky, I can't say I approve, but my mum has a sky account, HD box and all that. I don't use sky nor indeed the Xbox for a good while so can i ask how sky works with it?

I mean if my mum has an account can we just enter those details on the 360 or one and watch sky? Or is that dependent on the type of sky account you have?

Apologies if this is more suited to a sky thread, I don't know of one.

Yeah, I just tried to run Sunset Overdrive, got the error message '0x87dd0019' after it tried to run, rebooted, now I'm getting an instant message saying 'sorry, we are doing a little maintenance at the moment, so we are unable to sign you in' when I try to run it.

Does this mean I can't play it at all? Is there anyway to play without signing in?

Not a great Christmas Day experience.
