I still need to give Ryse a go. Been put off of by the relatively bad reviews. Is it really worth full price?

I really enjoyed the SP campaign and even the MP to a certain extent until it got a bit repetitive. Will probably revisit the latter if ever it comes out on Games with Gold. Definitely worth a purchase around £20 if you can pick it as resell value won't be much different if you complete it in 4-6 weeks. The SP campaign is on the shorter side.

So MS have announced a digital TV tuner add-on for the Bone. That seems sensible, given its TV TV TV focus. It connects via USB (presumably so the Bone can control it well?) not via the HDMI.

I am very confused as to how well they thought through the Bone's TV stuff.

The Xbox One feels like they didn't think through anything and have been making it up as they go along. But, have somehow got to the point where it is a decent, functional console.

Pretty much the same as the PS4 then, but Sony are still struggling to implement things.

I think they both forced each other's hand at least a year too early, but at least MS are putting in the effort to give their customers what they're asking for.

Just as a test I tried running my media pc through the One only to find out it cant even pass-through surround sound!

Do you mean it strips it out on the output HDMI feed? It know it can pass through the surround on the optical out via DTS and 5.1 if that's any help.

Just been reading about zynga's drop in income and how it's making a bigger loss recently since Don Mattrick took over. How the hell has he had two massive jobs, which he has seemingly both cocked up.

Once you're a corporate exec it seems fairly difficult to not just walk away from your latest failure and into the waiting arms of another corporation, collecting a big golden handshake plus your stock options from the old job, plus a pay rise and more stock options from the new job.

It baffles me.
