I was looking at getting this too... looks like you have to add a credit card to buy it though and can't use a paypal account - which you can elsewhere on the MS store. Odd. Guessing its something to do with legacy XB360 stuff....

Have a credit card and no paypal set up. Bought a few 360 games already too. Weird.

I have paypal setup and have also bought 360 games before. I was just coming to ask basically the same question regarding the Midway collection as I also can't buy it. It seems the offer is only available in the US. Can you switch regions easily on xbox?

It's still showing as "offer not available in your region".

I just want Smash TV

When you click on this link:

https://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/Midway-Arcade-Origins/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8025752082f?cid=majornelson&DownloadType=Game

What location does it say at the very bottom of the webpage on the left next to the globe icon?

We can sort this.

So when you set up your gamertag you chose Ireland as your location?

Is this current Xbox set as your Home console (That normally sorts the digital rights access stuff)

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Profile & System > Settings > General > Personalisation, and then select My home Xbox.

Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

So to clarify you have bought 360 games via PayPal? Do you have a Credit card registered on your account? When I try to buy 360 content the system doesn't even acknowledge PayPal as an option to pay and just requests I add a credit card to my account. I have bought other content however for the PC and Xbox One with my Paypal account. Really odd.

I double checked and I only have paypal. I have definitely picked up 360 games on my pc for the xbox one in the past (and I think also from the console).

In this case it seems to be a problem with the store in Ireland https://marketplace.xbox.com/en-ie/Product/Midway-Arcade-Origins/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8025752082f

I checked most other regions and all of them had a price. On the pc when you go there I can see no price so cannot purchase (for ther 360 games a price is shown). When I try on my xbox it after see price it shows the screen to buy but with no price. When you click buy it says this offer is not available in your region (or words to that effect).

There's basically nothing in those rumours of any substance, is there? Oh they're working on Fable and Halo Infinite and the next Forza game is a bit of a reboot - all of these things are already known. Halo Infinite is "open world but linear missions", oh like the standard structure of an open world game? Wild, thanks for clarifying.

I can't just rehash stuff, I need to add something unique to be an insider, usually something very fan-pandering so my leaks get excitedly adopted by people who want them to be true - nostalgia is pretty hot right now, "more reboots" there you go. Hit Submit.

TV, TV, TV!!!

I’ll be gutted when Series X launches and there’s no TV functionality built in. It was a great feature being able to run all my home entertainment through the Xbox One. It made my life easier at the time, but I suppose with the rise of Smart TVs over the last few years, there isn’t really much need now.

Why is it contradictory? Everything will look photo realistic but the layout will be partly procedural.

That’s not what was written. Photogrammetry is a technique where you capture a real world environment - like a 3D photograph in slightly crude terms. It’s the opposite of a hand-crafted environment - where artists create a world from scratch. “Hand-crafted photogrammetry” is an obvious contradiction in terms. It’s like talking about “hand-animated motion capture”, complete bollocks.

I'd like to think the focus on games is the message they stick to for the "console reveal event". To be fair the past few E3's they have done this, and fairly well.

There is no way we are getting another console reveal like the Xbox One, they are still feeling the after effects of that to this day. Also Kinect and the TV venture are long dead.

Brand new guitars can be bought "relic'd" that is to say made to look like old instruments that have been played for decades.  I suppose it's a bit like "shabby chic" furniture, only the guitars really are often very cool. This is the first time I've seen a controller that looks played in rather than bearing battle scars like the gears of war controller with a big claw mark on it. Looks pretty crap, not desirable at all, imo.
