I think this is the case but I'll ask anyway. £13 credit on my Xbox account. Trying to buy blood dragon for the 360 at £9.99. It doesn't let me use the credit on my account. Is it possible from a 360?

You can only use credit on the 360, the Xbox One treats the purchase as an Xbox.com purchase, where you've never been able to use credit.

Top lad. Hooked up the 360 to buy it. Cheers.

Ben Turd :hat:

I like the concept though of these free games for an easy 1000G as an advert for a movie.

"I was racing when you were a boy" is my new favourite voiceclip in a while.

I'm sure this has been covered but some noob questions.

Does anyone have the Virgin Media Tivo through their Xbox?  We rarely use our Tivo box, if im honest its out of standby once a week but still feel I should give it ago?  I guess the only thing that bothers me is excessive electricity use?

I was thinking of retiring my WD TV that i use for streaming all my movies/tv shows from Synology NAS.  I tested a few movies streaming last night on the Xbox and it was nice, fast and seemed to support most formats... how is the xbox with subs? We watch a lot of subtitled movies.

Is the official media remote worth getting? Functionally looks good.. If we are going to go 'all in' with the xbox as a hub  the missus wont want to be dicking around with a controller just to put on an episode of seinfeld.

Yea I use it.  It's decent.  HD football jerks when panning but everything else looks fine to me.  That said I use Netflix/Plex more than I do Tivo.  Works well enough though.   One thing to note.  Make sure you choose the right Tivo option when the setup asks you to select your hardware (Tivi Virgin) I think.  Else it doesn't work partiulalry well (or not at all, I can't remember, it's been so long).

The OneGuide is nice.  I'll occasionally take a look at what's trending to pick up something to watch.  Probably not enough to hang a whole console around like they seemed to at that first e3 but it's a decent feature that I use fairly often.

afaik if the input is 50hz, it'll judder as the bone only outputs at 60hz.

the media remote is pretty good with a cool light up feature

If you don't want it for the gamerscore there's literally no reason to play it imo.

Is there actually any benefit to wasting your time for 1000g?

I don't think I've ever got it on a game and I've been on Live for over 10 years!

If you like achievements then yes, if not then no.

I quite like doing some of the more interesting ones, but I don't think I could purposely play a shit game just for some moon points. I wondered if there was some financial reward or something for having a high gamerscore.

If it's a freebie and takes less than an hour I will, I won't buy shit games for completion though.
