Just thinking about 1 vs 100 and how much fun that was, can we start a petition or something to bring it back?

Oh God yeah! I remember getting really addicted to that when I was in a shared house years ago. We'd all sit around and play together.

Nice trailer.  Bought!

Picked this up for the £1.20 price. Only done the first 30 minutes and it already seems well worth the money. The controls are a bit fiddly, but it's an interesting concept and has some nice puzzles. Will be interesting to see how it develops.

The Fall was purchased this morning, thanks for the cheap price heads up.

I've finished it now though, it was pretty interesting, and thanks to the GBcast, I already knew what the ending was, as I'd heard somethin on there many moons ago and figured out this was the game they were talking about, oh well, didn't spoil my enjoyment of the game, that came from the fairly awkward controls.

Worth £1.20 though :)

Has RipTide GP: Renegade slipped?  Can't see it on the store... I loved Hydro Thunder on Xbox 360 so have a hankering for more water racing!

Yes. The details are in the Riptide GP thread - basically they've delayed it to add Xbox<->Win10 crossplay.

just grabbed an xbox one s and hooked it all up but annoyingly my Samsung 4k tv doesnt seem to have or recognise the HDR feature, as i cant tick the box to select it.

ive selected the UHD colour on the tv but it still wont work. I am getting the feeling it doesnt have the feature and wont work?  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Have to say im really rather miffed that this HDR thing seems to be a new addition to tvs less than a year old if thats the case I thought 4k UHD was the standard for this feature. Otherwise I have a smaller white box than a larger black one.

UHD just means Ultra High Definition ie 4K resolution whereas HDR stands for high dynamic range and deals with colour separation and contrast, for which a universal standard still hasn't been settled on. I think!

Also I don't think any games actually support HDR yet anyway, Forza Horizon 3 and Gears 4 being the first wave.

EDIT. Have a read of this Dave http://www.whathifi.com/advice/hdr-tv-what-it-how-can-you-get-it

What telly is it?

4k is a clusterfuck even now but a year ago hardly any telly was going to be HDR ready - UHD is also a clusterfuck of labelling as you have UHD-1 & soon UHD-2 and even within that you could buy a set that isn't HDR ready.

And thats before we even mention most 4k tellies not even being 4k in resolution!

Thanks to the launch of the S, XB1 2nd hand prices are up for negotiation.   Some dude on gumtree had just upgraded to an S so I managed to get his 500gb one for £60 with a wired controller. Happy days! I only really wanted one for playing the Witcher 3 on the couch.  Maybe Minecraft for the kids.

So, I'm seriously considering making the jump from PS4 to Xbox One, especially with the release of the Xbox One S. I'm a casual gamer, who doesn't have the time to invest hundreds of hours into a game. Therefore I tend to play more 'fun' and arcadey pick up and play games. I'm a fan of FPS, sport games, third person shooters/action games and more arcadey racing games.

Most sports games and FPS games are available cross platform, so this isn't too much of an issue if I did make the jump across. The only exclusive games that really attracted me to the PS4 are Uncharted 4 and Last of Us - both of which I have completed. Looking through the Xbox One exclusive list, games such as Halo, Gears of War and Forza Horizons are all games I'd love to play.

I suppose my only hesitations on making the jump are:
- on games available on both consoles - is there a big difference in frame rates and graphics?
- the Xbox One is getting outsold 2:1 by the PS4 - is there still a big large online presence on Xbox One (for example Halo 5)?
- for owners of both systems - is the Xbox One controller better for FPS and racer games?

- what is the future looking like for Xbox One exclusives?
