No, just the standard xbox as it comes. It's infuriating. I want to give them money.

And I want Bannersaga 2....

I'll try rebooting. Thanks.

Try using the website instead, for me at least it's so much faster than trying to navigate the slow XB1 interface. You can log in, add all the free games, and navigate back to rllmuk in the same time it takes the XB1 to generate the thumbnail previews in the dashboard.

Are you on the preview desktop as I had problems with this as well? I did a full reboot and it improved but still takes an age to update those boxes on the store.

This worked, thanks. Can finally play Inside.

Bought Snooker Nation this morning (it's a preview game) and for less than a fiver it's really nice. Apparently it is made by the same people that make Pool nation, and it plays just as well.

Are the loading times as painful?

OK I've almost finished Alan Wake and I'm buying a new game. Should I choose Quantum Break or Rise of The Tomb Raider?

I quite liked Quantum Break, had enough time faffing mechanics and story to keep it pretty interesting.

But Rise is the better game personally.

As a counterpoint to this opinion, I've not played RotTR, but Quantum Break is rubbish.

As a counterpoint to both opinions, I've not played Quantum Break, but thought RotTR was rubbish. Although I didn't like the reboot either.

Yeah stuff can take a while to load. It is made worse by the act that you can click a button and it seems as though nothing has happened. Then suddenly a menu will pop up etc....but it is stuff that can be fixed for the final build I suppose.

It does have a link to their forums asking you to give feedback. But the forum refuses to send me the activation email, and their twitter feed is dead. So I'm finding it rather difficult to contact them. Not great for a game in preview where they want feedback. Still a very nice snooker game though.

One thing Rise of the Tomb Raider gets right is, from popping in the disc to menu is very short. I wish more games would do it.

I don't know if this is a new dash thing or not as I buy all digital but I just got RB4 bundle and on popping th disc in it asked if i wanted to update now or later - I said later and now it's installing very quickly. Obviously I've got a dirty big patch to do after but at least it gets the disc done.

Edit : Took about a minute to become ready to play.

Argos have history for this though...

[edit]

now, I'm not saying that Argos deliberately post pricing errors to generate traffic to the website and then take the hit on the few orders they do honour, because its cheaper than proper advertising, but...
