Thanks all, just bought 2000 rubels and added them to my account :hat:

 

Turns out it's incredibly easy to buy games from other regions; in the 'my account' part of the site it even lists the credit you have for each country. I cancelled my UK pre-order for Inside with Xbox web chat and I'll buy it from the Russian store tomorrow for half the price.

Except for Halo I've barely touched mine, sometimes use the C4 app and the constantly crashing Eurosport app during Roland Garros. I love my PS4 which is weird as apart from the OG PS I've never liked PS consoles prior.

What with the plummeting pound soon these guys will be wanting to buy Uk credit to buy their games :lol: already noticed that US games have increased by £6 versus about 7 months ago.

 

£8.33 on S.African, £8.09 on Russian.

So I've bought my Saath African credit and redeemed it on the Xbox South African store. When I go to preorder it asks me to put my credit card details in? How do I spend my vouchers?

Not had that happen? Haven't preordered there though yet.

Are you buying from the South African under a VPN? 

 

I was able to pre-order Inside without issue

How do I do this South African thing to get Inside then? I've found it on the xbox site for 169 Rand, but I'm not sure how/where to get credit.

Maybe I should have looked a few posts up to Yoshi's helpful comment.

 

prepaidgamer isn't accepting my card for some reason though. Any other tips?

Dunno. Are Natwest 3D secure?

 

I just looked at Russian credit and you have to buy almost double the amount you need, so I'd end up spending pretty much the same as if I bought it from the UK store, albeit with a bit of credit saved up.

 

I might just get it from the UK store then and save the messing.
