Xbox One Console Thread

Because you need the mic to differentiate between a command and just random background conversation.  Hence "Hey Cortana" or "OK Google".  Otherwise you would just say "Cortana" and the console would be trying to do something.

Saying "Xbox" is impersonal enough to make it not feel so weird that you're talking to an inanimate object. Saying "hey Cortana" feels like some Microsoft engineer expects me to pretend to talk to a fake computer person, and that makes me feel weird and self-conscious.

And how often do you say 'Cortana'?

RIP Smart Glass; the Xbox app has been rolled out to phones and tablets - at first glance it looks a big improvement at least in the organisation of information.

It's probably better to put actual conference content in here now onward since the e3 topic is full of PC talk and piss poor trolls.

This hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet:

Halo Wars Definitive edition is an extra included with Halo Wars 2 (not sure if it's all versions or just deluxe etc)

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is an enhanced version of the original Halo Wars that runs natively on Xbox One and Windows 10. Halo Wars: Definitive Edition includes improved graphics and all of the DLC created for the classic real-time strategy game.
