I bought Overwatch from the Korean store easily enough with a VPN and Revolut. Seemed blocked but going into my microsoft account and deleting the payment methods and then re-adding it with a Korean address worked.

I reckon that's how they're blocking - looking for multiple instances of the same card hence the "you need to use another card" or whatever it is message.

I'll try that next time I buy something, just got the revolut app for my phone and a virtual card.  Looks easy enough to add credit too

I just checked our xboxes and no update yet. If your profile is on a machine yet it isn't set as your home xbox, will it still receive the preview program update?

Voice commands via headset is a bit big. Cortana looks great as well.

So are PC games coming over now? The mention of Xcom2 and LoL where Xcom is already BC free this month makes me wonder - easy toe-dabbles into UWP to show other pubs how easily their PC titles can now shift across?

Nope, still in the preview - just wont open the preview registration app, can still open the preview dashboard and it still shows me as enrolled on the current preview.

Just click on your current enrolment and there's another option for the new preview so you can enrol for that instead you don't need to use the registration app!

I hope voice stuff (via Kinect) is improved once Cortana is out. That said, even changing "xbox" to "hey, Cortana" will probably reduce 95% of accidental listening activations.

Jesus, that was so annoying.  In the end I had to set my locale to Ireland as that was the only way to get English menus *and* access to the euro Xbox Live store. Setting my locale to the Netherlands not only meant putting up with Dutch menus, a bunch of games will detect that shit too and adjust accordingly whether you want them to or not. Halo 4 in the MCC for example, with Dutch subtitles that cannot be turned off. "Gebruik een plakgranaat Meesterchef!" - for those of you who don't speak Dutch, trust me when I say that it's on some Bassie & Adriaan level shit.

Apparently you will be able to give voice commands through the headset with no need for Kinect. I wonder how many people will make use of them now.
