They're definitely the same controls, left trigger was always 'snap to cover' in Deus Ex.  It threw me a bit at first as well, but ultimately beyond the prologue you'll use that far more often than the iron sights/zoom.  It's the same control layout Rainbow Six Vegas used to use.

I wouldn't recommend Quantum Break at all. It looks really nice at times (and really bad at others, the grain filter does it no favours), but most of the game part of the game is made up of walking around office buildings and warehouses collecting glowies, which occasionally bursts into passable but underdeveloped and repetitive shooting. Everything else is cutscenes.

 

I was incredibly disappointed with it and have no idea how it got so many good reviews. Rise of the Tomb Raider is much, much better when it comes to third person shooters. Awesome game.

Whilst I wouldn't say it's a classic, Max and the Curse of Brotherhood is a really enjoyable platformer that has some interesting mechanics, can be found for a couple of quid on most sites these days.  Well worth it imo.

Is Ass Creed Unity good?   I played Blakc Flag and it was ok.   Never really persevered with it.

Ive hated every Ass creed game I've paid - still bought black flag and unity on Xbone as for under a fiver it would be silly not too!

 

Of course I've not played them in the fe months one had them....

Unity looks incredible, but gets tedious and frustrating far too soon.

 

I wanted to like it but the game got in the way of enjoyment.

Expecting a play it now Forza Horizon 3 demo/ beta test is probably folly on my part but purely because they've kept it so hidden and it almost officially doesn't exist yet.

I've claimed the gwg games - Defence Grid 2, Costume Quest 2 and Peggle. The other one, NBA2K16, says 'free play days' or something. Does that just mean you only get a limited amount of time to play it?
