I bought Doom from Argentina last night.  There is a workaround

 

Use vypvpn and connect to Vietnam.  Once connected you can then go to the Argentina store and buy the game.  It works this way as Vietnam does not have a Xbox digital store

I did this once and, while the game worked for a short while, it eventually disappeared from my owned games. Microsoft will get around to deleting the account at some point unfortunately, so I really wouldn't recommend doing this.

If you've downloaded them they are yours, regardless of whether or not you have Gold.

Wow, that's much better than the PSN deal, and the games I've been getting have been better too! Better re-new my sub as expires shortly. Thanks!

You don't need to download them, just 'buy' them from the store or website.

No worries! Thanks anyway, good that the 360 ones are anyway. Just locked myself out of my flat, had to pay a locksmith to break in, £65!!! :(

Looks like Microsoft may now be clamping down on purchases via VPN methods, widespread reports of users getting the PBR error when trying to use debit / revoult cards on foreign stores.  Not sure if this affects purchases using xbox credit though

 

I can't get Argentina to work at the moment and others I know are now having the same issue wth Russia

 

Hoping its just a temporary issue

Well if you fancy trying it I still have the code just let me know ! I'm not a big fan of the genre but I found it quite impressive.

Again, I've never used a VPN or one of these cards. I've purchased from Singapore and Brazil recently.
