If you bought the Japanese release of Raiden V (disc or digital) there's now an update available for it today which changes all of the text to English. The game will also be officially released in the USA/UK/Europe in May. I'd imagine it'll be a digital only release.

I'd highly recommend checking it out.

edit - The release date for the UK version looks like being May the 11th.

That's great news. Fingers crossed that they don't do a Darius Burst on us and it gets released at a price that doesn't turn people away from it.

Seriously? This is news to you, I thought you owned an Xbox before?

It's genuinely mystifying to me. There's no point to it - it's not based on skill or anything. It just shows whether someone can afford to play lots of games or not. And to actively seek out easy games to increase it just seems like such a waste of time and money in general. But each to their own, I guess.

Ohh I quite agree but its as old as achievements themselves hence my mocking post to Krypt, I don't think I have ever got 1000 points in a game or a platinum as it doesn't interest me but on the flip side I did like the challenge of some of the achievements and it can add longevity to games if done well.

The game is free?

I mean it baffles me that people continue to play Destiny just for a few helmets and capes that have been released when they just retread the same content continually especially the MP which is a 30fps P2P shitefest which has no place in 2016 but yeah to each their own.

I actually think achievements can do the opposite and put people off from games. Looking in the Dark Souls 3 thread, people are spending hours losing the will when grinding for rare drops in order to get achievements and trophies. And for what? They'll probably end up resenting it and never play it again.

Because I enjoy it. Mystifying I know.

At the end of the day it's the same old story if you don't like it don't do it. I don't do it for every game but it gives me a sense of completion. The main reason I do it is when I pay £45 for a game, I don't want to finish it, delete it and move on. I spend time going back and getting everything because that to me is getting my full moneys worth.

Who, other than Spainkiller, is doing that? Everyone just seems to be enjoying the game, and other than him, I haven't heard anyone go on about cheevos.

I don't really know where to put this, but hopefully someone can help.

Before getting my son an Xbox at Christmas, I bought him Minecraft Story Mode for my Xbox downstairs.

After getting him his, I did the home console swap trick so he can play all the games I buy.

I recently paid up for the season pass for him, and even though all the episodes are showing on my console, it's still telling me I have to buy them on his.

I initially thought it might be because I hadn't downloaded them with my profile, so I logged in as me on his box, but it's still asking me to buy them.

Has anyone got any idea on what I can do to get the episodes on his Xbox without having to buy them again.

Might be a silly question, but have you gone into the "manage game" section and checked if they are listed there as ready to install?

Not silly at all, as that worked a treat! Thanks.

Minecraft: Story Mode is a bit of a gyp, as the season pass only gives you episodes 1-5 and 6-8 are a separate release when they finally come out. Is it this?

I think Episode 5 has recently launched and it appears to be part of this pack. I didn't realise it only gave us up to this episode though. That's a bit cheeky.

Yeah, and just to be even cheekier, Episode 5 is the beginning of a new story which continues with 6-8. I bought the disc which counts as the season pass and was surprised when the story ended in Episode 4. It's a bit naughty of Telltale.

Some decent stuff on Sale this week across Bone and 360.  I'm tempted by Fable Trilogy for playing on backwards compat, but does anyone know if the trilogy version works?

Edit - Battlefield: Hardline Robbery and Battlefield 4 Dragon's Teeth also seem to be free at the minute for Gold users.

Edit edit - Apparently the trilogy version does enable you to play 2 and 3 on the Bone. Just need them to add Anniversary now!
