Do you have Windows 10? The Xbox App is fantastic for that sort of thing. Game DVR is being updated to 15mins max iirc but I agree it's a clumsy app.

It's still 5 minutes max.

What has changed is the length of "Xbox, record that" (Kinect) / "Guide + X" clips from 30 seconds to up to 5 minutes.

Double tap the guide button the press Y (maybe X) to save.

Then you can view it later. There are settings to choose length of recording too.

Always been that simple since I had mine

Y for screenshots, X for videoclips.

But up to 5 minutes, right? I just wanted to start the recording when the replay started. I assume the method there dumps the last X time of video that's continuously recorded in the background?

Yup, no more than 5 minutes.

The Settings now allow the "Xbox, record that" (Kinect) / "Guide + X" clips to go up to 5 minutes, instead of the pathetic 30 seconds it used to be.

Before that recent change, if you wanted more than 30 seconds you had to snap Game DVR and use that instead (either recording from that point on, up to 5 minutes, or select to end recording now and save the past 5 minutes).

(Also: Upload Studio is also now only needed for editing clips, whereas it used to also be needed for sharing.)

If you want more than 5 minutes, I recommend using Twitch, as you can then take your archived Twitch broadcast (of much more than 5 minutes) and export it from Twitch to YouTube.

Speaking with Revolut support. They are saying they see this quite often. It just doesn't work with some users. Nothing they can do.

AVForums & HUKD lighting up over the past few days of loads of regions have stopped working.

You can pull funds from Revolut back to your bank.

Follow that guide.  I've always just bought credit from the Russian store as you can just use your credit card on there (just use a russian address for billing address)

No need for revolut cards. Buying from the the official MS store.  So no middle man taking a cut pushing the price up.  If it throws an error then it's usually your bank freaking out that someone's buying shit from russian on your card.  Phone call to the bank/credit card provider to "unlock" it for Russian sorts it and you only need to do it once.

I've bought credit for Singapore and Hong Kong too but for one of them I had to buy the credit fro play-asia and they'll obvs want a cut of the action when selling to you.

Why would you always go to the Russian store by default though when it is cheaper elsewhere?

Also, doesn't work for me using my credit cards billing address (UK) when on foreign xbox stores. Every need for the Revolut card.

Anybody got the Turtle Beach 420X wireless headset? I'm looking to replace the crappy build quality of the Playstation Headset 2.0. It's a great wired/wireless headset, barring the quality of the plastic on the top. Cracked within a few months of normal use and I've been having to use more and more superglue to keep the damn thing together. Not going to shell out on £70 for another of those.

Yeah the trick is to NOT use your UK billing address.

I just find the Russian store easier. The other stores looks cheaper by a few quid but by the time you've added the cut the likes of play Asia take it's not really cheaper. The method linked above works everytime for me with no need for a another card.

Download VyprVPN set it to the region you want to buy from.

Go the the page in the store for the game, change the region (at bottom of page) to the one you want.

In the card details part use an address for a McDonalds or something in that country, save and pay.

Turn off VyprVPN

Done and dusted

Tony you will need a Revolut card, I've never got it to work with anything else.

It's cheapest on the Argentinian store.

I have never used a VPN or one of these cards.

I go to the Microsoft Store, change the region to the one I want (I've always used Singapore so far), buy the appropriate amount in digital store credit. I use PayPal, and just stick in the address of a random hotel in Singapore.

I then go to Xbox.com, change that to Singapore, redeem the code for the digital credit, and purchase. A second later my console is downloading the purchase.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I have never got it to work with my own credit card due to my credit card being registered to my house, rather than Russia etc.

RB do you go to the store first on the One's dash and change that?

Just ordered myself an Xbox One. I already have a PS4, are there any multi-platform games that are considered superior on Xbox One?

My current list of games to pick up includes Rare Replay, Halo MCC, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break. I've no plans to play on-line (all my friends have PS4s) but is it worth getting Xbox Live for the Games With Gold freebies?

If you do get xbox gold before the end of April you will also get Sunset Overdrive as it is one of the games this month.

I haven't touched any region settings on my Xbox One, just the Microsoft Store & Xbox.com in my browser (Chrome on PC, not Edge on the console itself).

Live is definitely worth it, especially for Games With Gold. Remember, you'll get 2 Xbox 360 titles every month as well the the 2 for Xbox One. And all 360 GWG releases are backwards compatible. You can get them straight from your One.

Yeah, I'd still get Live for the discounts and the Games with Gold (Sunset Overdrive! :-) ). Just avoid getting it directly from MS - look for cheap codes on CDKeys.com or Amazon.

I'd also really recommend getting EA Access. It'll give you unlimited access to Titanfall, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield Hardline, Need for Speed Rivals, Plants v Zombies: Garden Warfare, and various other EA games (including certain EA Sports games) for £19.99 per year, *plus* you get discounts on EA digital downloads and early-access to new EA games.

Just thought i would test out the Revolut thing with Super Pang (£3 odd from Brazil). Didn't work from my laptop with Hotspot Shield VPN but did from my phone with VYPR. Both settings exactly the same.

What did you use @King A?

Have you tried the other methods above too?

Question. I have a load of digital games on an external HDD for my Xbox. If I took the drive to a mates, and plugged it into his Xbox One, and signed in on his One, would we be able to play the games on his? Kinda wanna do some Rocket League and Killer Instinct couch wise.

If you bought the Japanese release of Raiden V (disc or digital) there's now an update available for it today which changes all of the text to English. The game will also be officially released in the USA/UK/Europe in May. I'd imagine it'll be a digital only release.

I'd highly recommend checking it out.

edit - The release date for the UK version looks like being May the 11th.
