Mmmm. I'm trying to get to xbox.com at the moment and I'm being redirected to a page that looks like this

Anyone else?

I can't access any microsoft sites from my work connection today. All of them are timing out. I've seen a couple of other people on twitter saying they can't get onto Outlook.com

Is anyone else's machine really slow at populating the tiles in the games & apps app?

I use a 2tb ext drive if that makes a difference. I hadn't noticed any issues until quite recently and have tried power cycling.

I could try the drive on my other Xbox to see if it's that which is the problem but even then, it might just be that the Xbox struggles when there are loads of tiles to show?

I deleted some games, I think there were 90+ games installed, and it's a lot more responsive :)

Any ideas?

So I had my first XBone replaced by MS and all has been good for the past 6 weeks or so. Since day 1 I've installed everything onto an external drive, it's the Seagate one that's recommended by a good few on here. Today the drive isn't recognised. Ive tried every USB port, restarted, did the 10 second power off- nothing. I can see the drive powering up (access light) and can feel/ hear the disc spinning up, eventually idling when nothing happens.

Anyone else had this?

Just tried another external disc and it sees it fine so I can only presume something has happened to the original and it can no longer be read. I'm also presuming there's no database rebuild or diagnostic function like the PS4?

On a related note I'm selling this. Will provide it with an extra Halo 5 controller and Halo Collection for £199. It's just not for me.

Yep. Using the xbox reset button on snap sorts it for me.

Gotta love Netgear routers.

After doing some port forwarding and getitng two of the xboxes on open nat and one on moderate I thought I'd play with port triggering as that's a little more dynamic.

Googling around I find that there's an option on my Netgear that says NAT filtering: Open or Secured. Set it to open and they all work as Open NAT on BLOPS 3 etc.

Ran a few network checks to see if it leaves anything exposed to the wider indernet but seems fine in terms of not responding to random pings or exposing ports it shouldnt be.

Maybe worth looking to see if your router has NAT Filtering?

Xbox Live is fucked *again*!
Social and Gaming. 01/13/2016 09:52:50 PM. In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures. Affected platforms: Xbox One Xbox 360 Xbox on Windows 10
Does anyone else feel like XBL has frequently been far less reliable this generation than last generation?

Is the new kinect motorized, like the old one? I've got it low down on the TV stand for now, waiting for the mount to be delivered. The old one used to pan up a bit to take that into account, but the new one just chops my head off unless I stand back a bit.

Quality on skype is great, so much easier for calling with kids than holding a tablet that they want to mash their hands on.
