Are you using UPNP with them both or is one in the DMZ?

I briefly tired it when it arrived and the second went to strict straight away, but I don't have time to test any settings or reboot the router etc

No DMZ but they do both have static IPs which are reserved on the hub for their MAC addresses.

I might have just got lucky though, everything else is default.

In that case it sounds like a shit hub ;)

Is it type A?

Cheers, mine is reserved but not static, but that shouldn't make a difference. Will be doing the same with the other one on Xmas day. Just have to wait and see i guess and then mess around with port forwarding if needed

No idea, not at home. I want to get one of those nice Asus routers, but wont have the spare cash until end of january. :(

I've bolded the the ones I think you should get. If you get Xbox Live Credit, Amazon have an offer of £35 for £30. Digital so you get the code right away.

Xbox live is £29 at CD Keys. Not the best, but better than retail price.

Hi I'm taking delivery of a shiny xbox one today thanks to the Amazon deal posted a couple of pages back. Quick question: has an update allowed the hdmi pass through to work while the console is in standby?

Sadly not. It's the reason I don't run my Sky box through it. It's quite amazing that it wasn't a standard feature when the console launched.

I think you buy the code, go on to Xbox.com, bottom left of the screen change the page to United States then redeem the code - this is in a drop down menu below your gamerpic (top right).

Then it will be on your One to download the next time you turn it on.

I'd definitely get Elite: Dangerous, too. I think that and Sunset Overdrive are the best console-exclusives on Xbox One.

Yeah, it's a shame it doesn't have passive passthrough.

If you really want to run the Sky box through the Xbox One, but also still be able to watch Sky without having to have the console turned on, you could get an HDMI splitter such as this:

Has anyone got any experience of child accounts? My son and daughter both have profiles, but when we're playing Infinity, it won't let us download toy boxes because community created content is blocked for them, apparently. Is there any way to set per-game permissions? I'd like to let them download toy boxes, but still stop them from downloading 15+ rated games. There doesn't seem to be any option other than to remove all content restrictions though.
