Xbox One Console Thread

I've not bought a gaming mag in years. Last time I read one it was mostly reviews and previews, with gaming news.

Problem was the reviews and previews were available on the site, and the news was at least 2 weeks out of date. Didn't see the point in buying mags any more.

I've given up, will try again later. First it took ages to enter a valid zip code then it rejected my credit card. Will try again later. Guide here -

I used this guide last week, worked a treat. And you get a further £5 off if you use that MSE code.

If your credit card is rejected right at the end, it's likely your bank that has blocked it as it doesn't fit your normal purchase pattern. I had trouble with the russian store and I rang my bank up to get it sorted. It's been fine after that,

which service can I use that takes the screenshots and lets me link to them here?

XboxDVR doesn't let you directly link.

Over the past few days I've been finding games and apps take a number of tries to get to actually launch. Haven't tried any physical discs yet but 3 different digital games took 3 goes to get them to load and even then they took an age. Even the Blu Ray app did the same, but it also froze on one of the first menu screens a couple of times too. I have tried a hard power down but doesn't seem to have helped. Anyone else having similar problems? NXOE seems to playing havok with me, having had no isses at all with the old OS.

I've had no end of problems with the NXOE.

The latest one may be down to my son though. He loves Infinity 2.0, and is just about old enough to know how to turn it on himself and get into a game. I've spent hours and hours making a toy box for him and his big sister over the past few weeks, having saved several versions of it. Today when I turned it on, all the saves are missing. All my toy box saves, but also all the saved games from all the playsets.

As I say, it could be my boy trying to play by himself and deleting them, but he knows you have to have the playset piece on the base in order to play, so I sort of doubt he'd have gone into the toy box saves menu. And since the saves for every playset are missing - even Guardians of the Galaxy, which he doesn't like and doesn't ever want to play - I think it's the Xbox somehow deleting all my saves. I've no idea how though.

Has anyone else had any issues with saved games vanishing? On Infinity, or any other game?
