Weird one yesterday. Ran the ESPN app, which crashed while loading. Closed it from the dashboard, but it wouldn't run again. Then I noticed nothing worked, including long press on pad to turn the console off. When it finally dinged up, the console took over a minute on a blank screen with light on console flashing, trying to shut down, before I had to pull the power lead.

Was fine next boot.

Anyone having issues with controller batteries being drained fairly quickly since the NXOE update? Over the past 2 weeks I've went through 3 sets of batteries with maybe only 3-4 hours of play before they go caput. I have just bought some new batteries to see if it makes a difference. I will report back.

Yeah, I've noticed this. I'm using rechargeable batteries and assumed they or the charger was at fault. But I've noticed loads of issues since the NXOE. My Kinect doesn't turn on half the time, games and apps are crashing pretty frequently, especially when resuming, button presses aren't registering on the dash.

I think it's a mess.

Yep, I've been having crashes pretty regularly, but having barely owned the Bone before NXOE I wasn't sure if that was unusual. I had Forza Horizon 2 completely hang four times yesterday, and I've noticed regular issues whenever the on-screen keyboard is invoked - sometimes it just keeps getting reinvoked every time a new app is used, no matter the context, sometimes going into it stops all joypad input working (including even the dashboard button), with the only way to get out of it being to turn the machine off and on again. It's a proper mess.

Determine which version of the superhub you have then google search "xbox one virgin superhub X open nat" replacing X with the superhub version.

Great stuff, cheers. All seems pretty complicated what with setting up static IP's and Port Forwarding. I'll have a crack tonight and report back my failures!

My son is playing Fallout 3 via BC but can't sign in to xbox Live while using the 360 emulation as he recently changed his gamertag and the 360 part of the One only shows his old name. Anyone had this before?

He has used his new gt on Live for at least a month, probably more. Pretty odd.

360 offerings are surprisingly shit. I'll take Thief, but I've never heard of Van Helsing. Any good?

It's a decent Diablo like on PC - the Final Cut version is all 3 episodes that released on PC in one big pack with 4 plr co-op and a load of multiplayer and endgame content added in. It's got generally good reception in the Steam thread from the folk who have plyed it.
