Is xbox live consistently this flaky or is this all part of the preparations for the new dashboard?

Issues with content seem to be every second day just now. Ive no problem not being able to buy anything but I can't play online games because my fucking profile, including even pinned apps for christ sake are tied to being logged in to Live. Ive checked in case it's me but it's not- the status report confirms problems on their side.

It's normally rock solid. I'd guess any issues are down to huge bandwidth demands due to the constant NXOE updates, and the preparation for the full rollout soon.

"Multiplayer games: The following titles should now correctly connect to multiplayer.

Puyo Puyo Tetris"

I need this in my life.

I remember seeing about it an age ago and it just the idea of it got me rather giddy but read that it was Japan only. Seeing it listed in those update details has given me hope again but a quick search shows nothing to be different from before and it still being Japan only.

Please tell me I'm being a hung over thicko and it's widely available!?!

I got my copy from Play-Asia, took less than a fortnight to arrive, it really is a rather excellent game, although I only ever play the Tetris part of it as I suck at Puyo Puyo.

Detailed explanations of the menu's are easily available online also , making it easy to navigate :)

Hello all.

Just popping in to say that Elite: Dangerous on the Bone is a truly magnificent thing. If you are on the fence, don't be. I'm a dozen hours in, and it is a truly stupendous game. Pretty much justified my new Bone purchase on its own. I do lots more excited jizzing about it over in the E:D thread here:

http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/266164-elite-dangerous-landing-on-airless-rocky-worlds-paid-expansion/?p=10643197

But, really, it is an amazing thing. If you haven't got it, get it. A stunning creation.

Go on. Get in your ship. Gird your loins. The galaxy awaits.

How 'consuming' is it? It is definitely on my list but with Fallout next week I know I won't be playing anything else that requires a lot of time invested in it for some time.

Edit: I just read your post in the other thread and yeah it sounds epic and consuming! I will definitely get this but not yet, after Fallout.

It's certainly a slow start. With zero hand-holding. Which makes it rather the antithesis of many modern games. But after a dozen hours it's truly opening up. Of course there are no specific narrative goals, just those you choose to set for yourself. So I'm now going to get my combat ranking up. Pimp my cobra, and go bounty hunting. And when I earn enough, I'll buy an explorer-class ship, a nice scanner, and head out into the black.

However, even from minute one it is an awe-inspiring, humbling thing. Exactly as it should be. You. A ship. And a one-to-one scale Milky Way.

Think about that. It's daunting, but in a very good way.

Anyhow, I'd say leave it until you can throw some time at if. No reason to rush your career as a space jockey.

Bought Spectra for £3 in the sale. It's a really good chiptunes score based racer. You can only move left or right, but it gets very difficult very quickly. Plus the music is awesome.

This looks insane lurve the music. Looks like a modern day trailblazer on steroids. That and those 80s fluorescent display powered table top arcade games...

What is the deal with the new dashboard. I'm in the preview program and kept getting warning notices that I needed to drop out if I didn't want the NXE. I've stayed in the preview program but am still on the regular dash and the full launch is in a handful of days. Seems odd I didn't get the trial dash?

This fucking piece of shit homehub box of wank is pissing me off again. Parties wouldn't work, so I looked in the network settings on the console. Suprise suprise, strict NAT.

So I load up the router settings, and look at what has been identical for the past two weeks, port forwarding off, console in a DMZ. It's worked flawlessly. But as of tonight, it has decided that will no longer work & sticks me behind the NAT.

What the fuck.

Isn't there some stupid trick on Xbone to do with holding down triggers on the network test screen or something? Since the dash has been updated perhaps something lame like an internal id has been changed. If you're in a DMZ this shouldn't even be a router issue unless you have multiple devices connected and the router is a piece of shit.

I used to have similar issues with the equally wank superb 3 - easy fix, I bought a proper router.
