Download speeds and management are truly awful. Took me around 8 days to download GoW: Ultimate Edition and 48 hours to download Titanfall. It has a terrible system where it can only download one game at a time, but then decides to switch downloads as it sees fit, leaving games unfinished. I left Tales from the Borderlands downloading, for example, and it stopped the download at 99% and switched to Forza 6, which still hasn't finished. I got the code for that around a week after release. :|

Seems to have become "normal" again without me changing anything. Connection is wired and it's a good router.

Going by what you chaps have said this isn't unusual. It's certainly making me reconsider the digital version of Halo 5.

The Ui takes a bit of getting used to. Seems a little messy so looking forward to the new dash.

If you really waited 8 days for Gears and didn't think to ask here or do a google of your router type to see if anything needed doing then I don't know what to say.

A download that has stopped at 99% is waiting for the digital license - was it downloading whilst the machine was off or did you switch users? You simply highlight the game tile in the queue, press start (menu) and there's an option to effectively "install now" which would finish it there and then. Same for any other downloads you can use it to rearrange your queue.

I think I've read something similar to this before but any idea why my Kinect will stop powering on every week or two? If I pull out the cable from the back of my Xbox, wait a few seconds and put it back in then it powers up fine and works instantly but it seems to stop working again after a while.

Mine does that I think it means it's knackered - I've seen a few reports bizarrely claiming the NXOE fixes it but I've not tested that theory yet.

The new dash now enables simultaneous downloading. Got to be honest I've never seen the point of it since the speed will just be a reciprocal of however many items you download, So taking the same amount of time as queuing them up.

Not my experience, I get between the full 150Mb and as little as 125Mb on my Virgin connection, Halo 5 which is, I believe 45+ GB was downloaded the same night I redeemed the code.

I'm hard wired directly to the router (superhub 2) and aside from having to spend a while trying to fix a shifting NAT, I've had no issues.

No idea why your experience is so different to mine but you should be getting significantly better performance than you are.

Has anyone else had problems connecting the XBox One via wireless? Mine's been fine since I got it in February but since moving to a new place (shared with two other lodgers) my XBox kept dropping connection throughout an evening for the first month and now it won't connect at all. I go to connection settings and it finds the wireless broadband signal just fine, I try to connect to it and I get asked for a password, it thinks for a moment and then tells me it cannot connect. The last thing I was going to try is take the XBox downstairs and connect it via ethernet. Maybe that will sort the problem

I've set up my old Xbox 360 and that seems to be connecting without problems as does my phone and tablet. (I should add that my destop computer also loses the wireless connection if it goes into sleep mode and needs a complete reboot before it connects again but is solid if I stay connected).

Have you tried homeplugs? My connection was slightly dodgy on wifi but is now rock solid thanks to someone on here suggesting them.

https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?source=search_app&gfe_rd=cr&ei=ujUdVoaQL4ax8weCtoz4Cw&gws_rd=ssl#safe=off&q=homeplugs

Spend hours, days & weeks trying to sort it or just buy these and fix it permanently in minutes.

Probably a poor router to blame, Belkin by any chance ?

I've got a pair of home plugs sitting around the office not being used, drop me the postage and they are yours :)

Well bugger me with a stiff wire brush, the Homeplugs have resolved my issue! I plugged them in, and instantly I was on Live. No faffing whatsoever. So thanks for the suggestions guys, and a massive thank you to MikeBeaver for generously giving me a set of plugs for free.

This forum, man.

I did the home button double tap to record my lad driving the mystery van in Forza last night. Then it took me to an Upload app to edit and share it. The quality was a bit crap though, like an old porn mpeg. Can I adjust the settings? I couldn't see anything obvious.

Careful, the last time someone asked that the Xbox fans negged him and demanded to know why he wanted to get something that was already a reasonable price for even less. He even had the audacity to ask if there was a 30 day trial.

I did like that it followed previous discussions about them all abusing the family sharing system and buying cheaper games from different regions.

This isn't a moan, honestly but...

Just got an XBone today. Ive had constant sign in issues and it's taken 12 hours and counting to install the update for the Halo collection. If I check my download speeds on another device I have a constant 8mbps speed (woot!) which is normal. The XBone tool says 0.04mbps.

I can't say my new console happy feeling hasn't taken a bash. I know there's marketplace issues but is this related? is this unusual?

My console downloads stuff at full speed. Always has. I can't remember how long the 19GB update for Halo TMCC took, but it wasn't very long at all.

Is there anyway to get EA Access slightly cheaper? I mean £20 is pretty cheap but I'm just wondering if I should buy it from the US store or if I can get vouchers from Game or something.

It £14.10 for the year on the Hungary Xbox store

You can use a UK credit card too.

Delicious irony

Nah, you get it with the normal edition as well. Just got mine from the Singapore store for £27. :)

Thanks. I wasn't sure if you could by EA access from other regions.

And I suppose it's only reasonably priced if you actually want to play any of the games. I mainly want it for the NFS and Battlefront early demos.

It sometimes does that for me if I'm still playing a game. Like it's still processing it. Usually it looks much better after a few minutes of you go back to it. I've always assumed it was down to it processing the video still.
