Xbox One Console Thread

Exactly. This is why I don't gameshare. Anything happens to my internet connection or Xbox Live, I can't play my games. You don't have the right to complain when something doesn't work if you are exploiting a loophole to get it cheap.

It's not really a "loophole" as such. Even Microsoft suggest it on their support pages,

http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/games/my-home-xbox

The first time you sign in on an Xbox One and save your password, that console becomes your home Xbox. Your home Xbox allows you to do the following:

  • Share games and downloadable content purchased from the digital store with anyone else who signs in on your console. You can even share games downloaded as part of a subscription.
  • Share your Xbox Gold subscription with anyone else who signs in on your console.

That's not what they're saying at all. They're saying other people can sign in on your system and play your purchases, even GWG or EA accesss.

They're not saying share your password and sign in on a system five miles down the road. They're talking about people signing in on your system being able to use your content.

Don't see how that makes a difference? The system isn't in place to allow you to share your purchases with other people.

What I'm saying is if you ARE using the system legitimately then you're still screwed when Xbox live goes down on one of your consoles.

Come on guys - this is the "indie" game of the year.

That does indeed look good. I take it its not very long if you were able to 1000g it in a day but plenty of replayabilty?

I picked up Shadow Warrior for a tenner at Asda and had a quick blast last night. The sword combat is brutal

So I gameshare with a friend and it doesn't seem like he has Taken King even though it's working for me? Worked fine with the other expansions so a bit confused! Anyone else had any issues with Destiny specifically? Or seen anything like this?

Has he definitely downloaded that key bit of DLC, ie not just the main game?

Only used the new dash for a couple of hours but so far...

It's rapid, that's brilliant. Joining a party and messaging friends is pretty damn quick now. You can also text chat in a party. You can also clear notifications now.

BUT, they've got rid of the little row of recently used icons under the live tile, instead you have to scroll down through each one. So it's not all there in one row on one screen for you to easily see.

You can't snap party anymore, but this isn't an issue for loads of people so I'm probably in the minority on this one.

They've actually made it so you need to press more buttons to get to settings instead of "Menu, up, up, A"

I don't have mine yet either, at least according to Smartglass (if it comes through as a message).

If you've opted in I imagine it'll just be there the next time you turn your console on, if they've rolled it out to your console. I can't see why they'd send you another message.
