Like Pavey says, it takes a few days, and you get it as a message.

Never Alone was good fun with two people, and didn't outstay its welcome by being nice and short. Good to get if it's on sale. Wouldn't recommend it for playing on your own.

I think it's alright? What's your reservation?

I find that I need to keep the volume really low, at a level I can barely hear anything, otherwise it creates an loop/echo (even when my mic is muted) for whoever I am in a party with. As I mostly play multiplayer this pretty much makes them useless.

If I'm playing solo then the sound quality is fine, no complaints there.

I only experience this occasionally if I have the mic up really high (like next to my mouth), I typically have it much lower (like at my Adam's apple) and it works perfectly.

These Indie game releases are totally out of control at the moment - 3 a week? I've picked up the swindle are any of the others worth getting?

Brothers is £14.99 even if you've already bought it on 360 - that seems a big mistake.

The Gears 1 back compat update on Xbox One today is a minor performance tweak. It's called Preview for a reason! :)

I love the Xbox these days. They really do have something for everyone. I'm having to limit myself though, as I'm just not playing stuff. I still have games in their wrapping from Christmas, my pile of shame is about 30 games!

Thanks to the constant sales I have Styx, Sniper Elite 3, Slender, White Night (shite), Black Flag and Resi Revelations 2 all but untouched, along with Witcher 3, Evil Within, Alien Isolation, Far Cry 4, DmC, Abes Oddysey, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and ODST all around 60-80% complete. To add insult to injury I've just started on Dark Souls 2: SOTFS. Most of the Games with Gold, which I haven't even mentioned, barely get 10 minutes.

It's getting a bit out of hand.

Fuck just as I get a little free time to play, my Bone controller won't connect to the console.

I've tried shutting everything off for a while, pressing buttons, but the controller's light just flashes slowly. No connection at all.

Any ideas?

Did you plug it in via USB to a PC to try the streaming? If so you need to resync with the console again.

I did play on my Mac via streaming yeah.

Do you mean with the sync button on the top of the controller?

Edit: sorry I'm a dickhead, I didn't know about the sync button on the console itself...

There is also a sync button near the side USB slot on the console ;)

Just had a weird issue with mine.. it stopped recognising my usb flash drive in the side port..

Removed it and tried an external HDD instead.. It was clearly sending power as the light went on, but it didn't 'see' that either..

Managed to plug the HDD into one of the rear ports and it connected fine..

So I assumed the side USB had stopped working and got onto the online help/chat..
The support numpty asked me to try things I'd already tried, like restarting it from settings and powering it off altogether.
He then asked me to try something that set an alternate MAC address (told him network config surely won't have anything to do with it) - no surprises when it changed nothing.

Then he tried to get me to factory default it - which I refused as it'd take me days to reinstall/redownload the 400 odd GB that's on there when it seemed likely to be a hardware issue..
I asked him if it could be a preview program issue (as I noticed there was an update waiting while I was in system settings) - he assured me it wouldn't be that.. but I'd started it installing anyway..

And guess what - installing the update sorted it! All working again now.. Very strange!
