Oh man..

If anyone ordered the Elite controller for £75 on Amazon when I posted the link a few days ago bloody well done! They've just re-added it to the store at £119.99 but it looks like they will be honouring the earlier misprice!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ZFOGG54?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I preordered on Amazon around the end of e3 and looking at my orders my price has dropped to £75.

Will they honour it?

MS are skipping the Tokyo game show but they do have a few Xbox One local events happening at Tokyo and Osaka on the 26th of August and 4th of September.

The three shmups from developers Moss, Triangle Service and Qute are expected to be shown along with a presentation from Access Games (D4 season 2) the events will be used to showcase a number of id@xbox titles from Japanese developers.

Been streaming my Xbox One to Windows 10... .v impressive almost worth installing Windows 10 to get it (the upgrade was not smooth!)

However on smartglass on phone I can switch my xbox one on... on the Windows 10 app I can't seem to, am I missing a setting? Its no fuss to start it using smart glass just seems odd I cant just do it in Win10 as well.

Currently streaming across network over power line and its very smooth, slightly blurry picture quality (as if the AA is slightly aggressive) but no other obvious compression artifacts. I played jetpac and felt perfect, even improved my snapshot prowess despite input lag (which I was struggling to spot to be honest)... Tested it to the max by playing Forza Horizon 2 and I could definitely spot the input lag then , I could compensate but it was a bit disconcerting... I'll probably use the streaming for the non-twitch games most games are going to work just fine.

Really nice bonus feature.

It's impressive but agree that the picture quality was too blurry. I've got giga ethernet connection and hoped it would be perfect.

To be honest, the main thing it needs for me to use it is for the TV app to still be available whilst you're streaming as it needs to make the TV available for the missus.

I'm loving the Win10 streaming. Playing the xbox one in the mancave is fab, the PC is linked to the router with a cable, picture is very clear, at least 720p.

However, on the couple of times I've tried it on the laptop via WiFi, it is stuttering a bit ... I'd be quite happy if it dropped picture quality a notch or two, but it seems to be trying to persist with top quality even though the connection isn't coping. Any way of telling it to stop trying so hard?

There's an icon on the top right (looks like a wifi symbol) if you click that you can change image quality low/medium/high.

Longshot, but— with streaming games to windows, could the xbox play the TV app on the tv at the same time? I know with the DVR stuff coming you can record TV while playing games.

Wifey always watching tv at the time I could fit in a game or two, and the streaming could be one way of doing something!

Thanks to GWG, EA Access, BC and Rare Replay I have over 50 games for my Xbox One already, it's ridiculous! There are a quite few in the download list which I've not even installed yet.

Never though this day would arrive but I have to say Xbox is really fighting back and looking so much stronger than PS4 at the moment.

:)

Absolutely still working my way through:-

Forza Horizon 2

Halo Master Chief Collection

Sunset Overdrive

Rare Replay

Not even touched games with gold titles yet....

Incoming...

Forza 6 - Best racer available on any console. Period. :) (slightly biased maybe having enjoyed the franchise since the first way back in '05!... )

Gears Of War : Ultimate Edition (and Gears 2 - 4 downloads)

Rise Of Tomb Raider (really looking forward to this enjoyed the re-boot immensely)

Halo 5

More GWG titles over the forthcoming months.

Then next year Crackdown 3, Gears 5 amongst others.

Arrrrrrggghhhhhh too many titles....

Really is some top notch gaming to be had here! :)

And you know the best thing about MS? The games are released at the release dates given....

Anyone streaming from bone to Mac?

Is it doable?

Is it? I didn't think so, I thought it was to Windows 10 only, but you could always stick that on your MBP as well...
