I've played all the Halos so much that something else appeals until 5. I'll probably get MCC anyway though...

Did they sort its problems out?

Definitely interested in Far Cry 4, I enjoyed the last one I played.

Wolfenstein felt like a real breath of fresh air when it came out.

Far Cry 4 is good but it's just 3 with everything done a bit better.

Can't really go wrong with either.

Cex will give you £35 cash for Batman at the moment, which may be useful, or you could get Game to price match and give you £39 credit. I'm thinking about doing the latter to get Halo 5.

i'll do you my wolfenstein (the new order) for £10 delivered if you want physical, comes with the occupied edition special box thing and a few postcards and a berlin handbook, i use the card holder you got with it for my oyster and used the doom beta. and i'm sure you can get the old blood for £13 on amazon

if you mean about the card holder and doom beta, those also came with the occupied edition but i've used them so cant include them - if you mean the old blood, that's the other wolfenstein game/standalone add on? you get in the bundle on the xbox store. think its quite a bit shorter though.

so you could get them both physically for £23 rather than £36 on the xbox store

Picked one up today, trading my 360 and some games against it in the process. Walked away with the console, two controllers (one with a play and charge kit), Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, Ori and the Blind Forest and Back to the Future on Blu-Ray. Oh and I added a preowned copy of Fifa 15 outside of the deal. £284. Maybe I'm nuts but that felt like a pretty good price to me.

Anyway, the UI takes a bit of getting used to, but so far I like how it all works. Enjoyed what I played of Arkham Knight and was impressed with the step up in quality in Fifa; all in all, a very happy boy.

Worth bearing in mind :

A couple days ago my xbox suffered the green screen of death, and after communicating with the rep on xbox support she said that my traditional 1 year warranty had ran out since I bought the console day one, yet I still qualified for free repair due to being part of the flight program (which I later confirmed was the preview program).

So, if any if your friends are in the preview program and you have ran out of warranty, get them to invite you (and vice versa).

By the way, this is in the UK so it may be different overseas.

Are there any negatives to being on the Xbox Preview Program?

if your internet is slow and you don't use the console that often, having more constant updates can be annoying. which was why i opted out - might opt-in again if it extends the warranty though!

Nope.

There can be. Last year there as an update & for about a month you couldn't chat or party up with any of your mates. If you have a bunch of friends that don't want to be in the preview program and they do something like that again, it's a pain.

My connection is pretty fast.

Also, Instant On should mean I rarely see an update actually downloading.
