I've added you. Remember on the One your friends are split into 2 lists. Friends are people who you've added, Followers are people who've added you (I think) so you need to add people back in order to get the full friends experience.

Yep, do this since you currently have 23 followers and no friends :o I think you can go into the "suggest a friend tab" to identify us.

Also you won't see people come online unless they are a favourite.

Not necessarily, it depends on your settings.

Anybody had intermittent issues with their kinect? I noticed the other night after I'd switched the console off that the light had stayed on it. Switched it back on and everything seemed fine but it seems to come and go now. I suspect it needs replaced the problem is it *could* be to do with the preview program.

Mine does this quite often, it just decides to stop working and I have to either unplug the Kinect or do a hard reset, it will go back if it gets any worse or more frequent than once or twice a week, warranty doesn't run out till some time in December so it's all good.

I've not heard wording like 'Yeah but if/when xx comes out it's going to be the best thing ever!!' since I was on the playground back in the MD/SNES days. And it actually got posted up in a newspapers online section? Certainly reads like some cretin from Gaf got loose.

Anyway...

If anyone was thinking about picking up the new South Park: Fractured but Whole there seems to be a lower price on the Xbox One version over at Game (£26.99 vs £34.99) and you can take it down to £24.29 with the voucher code E3GAME

Coming up as 344.99 when I just checked, anywhere else got it going cheap? I definitely want to pick this up day one.

Why are people suddenly buying bones? Did people forget how crap it is and what Microsoft tried to do/their fucked up behaviour towards consumers or something? Their kinect philosophy will only come back once they get enough systems out there + console redesign.

Good games wouldn't forgive Hitler.

..Ignore the fact I have a Bone.

Yeah, it was a good deal, same with the expansion pass too. They've not said anything about TTK though

Loads of achievements are unlocking too.

Looking forward to getting back involved in it. If I get any time. Two tiny kids!

Jumping on tonight though.

Neg confirmed as Sun journalist.

I mean yes I'm half poking fun, they're pretending as all hell it didn't happen at all and doing a good job of it by concentrating on what matters: games

But someone (being me, in this case) needs to remind once in a while what they're capable of, what Microsoft wanted to turn gaming into.

I'm mostly bitter about what the 360 dashboard turned into, and it's the main proof when I say in 2-3 years they'll be shouting TV TV KINECT TV in our faces again. But some are okay with how the 360 takes ages to load now. Whatever.

I/The industry be even worse off once Gabe retires and Steam turns into a piece of poo far worse than Microsoft, of course. You never see it coming.

@NEG

Why would they keep mentioning it themselves though? Are you surprised that they don't bring it up every month or so, what would be the point in that?

They came up with some shit policies. Everyone said they were shit. They cancelled the shit policies. They sacked the dude in charge and got someone new in. Now they are talking about games.

edit - my 360 works fine and the dashboard is fine. Aren't you the guy who couldn't work the bluray player on the XBO too though?

I think it was the fact it needed an update, or that you had to even choose to install it in the first place, in the Blu Rays case. I just use the PS4 instead for that these days.

Not sure what you mean by mentioning it themselves, are you suggesting MS should mention how terrible they can be each month?

I doubt it was due to one guy (who tells you to buy a 360 if you don't have constant internet to play single player Bone games, folks!) that all those policies happened. Microsoft is built on approval process, they are that kind of corporation. The console was in development for at least 2 years, the team could have said NO.

Microsoft have never been Steve Jobs era Apple.

Yeah, I was commenting on you saying they were pretending it didn't happen, so what should they do remind everyone all the time? And yes he was one guy but he was the head. Maybe other people were moved around too but he was the public face of those policies and they publically let him go. I doubt the team could have overruled exec decisions.

Microsoft don't need to do anything about their history, they went about it the only way they could. Did they publicly apologize perhaps? That would have been great.

Another old policy reminder: Hey guys, don't forget that only 8 people in a room could listen to music out loud. If another person enters the room the Kinect will tell the music to stop!

I personally don't think MS got punched in the face hard enough to justify the recent increase in sales, essentially. I'd wanted it to be selling as bad as the Wii U.

Sweet justice.
