It’s tempting to assume that a video of a bunch of grown men crying over Final Fantasy VII is representative of the wider audience — but the data suggests that isn’t necessarily the case.

Are you laughing at the fact Rare Replay has outdone VII on the pre-order front, or are you laughing at the actual comparison in the first place?

I hope it's the latter, because the former makes no fucking sense as a comparison :P

I got the £249 deal. You have to make sure both sellers are Amazon, which they're not if you follow the links above.

Bone incoming! Bought on a whim really just because I popped into this thread.

Edit: Do I need to buy a Kinekt camera for any good reason? I haven't really made much use of the 360 version...

First thing I've bought myself in months. Destiny, Halo 5, Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront it shall be!

Will be looking into Elder Scrolls online too. I loved Skyrim. I was a cat.

Oh it was just the description of grown men crying over FF VII that really tickled me. No comparison to anything really.

£309.99 down to £181 after trading in a great deal of junk. Took the guy three goes through the till and being patronised by his manager to get it all said and done.

Ori and Witcher going on sale in Trading as soon as I find out if Witcher is a code or a boxed copy.

I added the Fast and the Furious to my account a few weeks ago. Do I need a Gold sub to play it or will a trial do?

Yeah, you're right. Comes with a nice card thing. I had a choice between this one and Masterchief Collection but I'm not particularly interested in that (only want to play ODST so will get it when it's cheap).

My gamertag is Stagguh Lee. Could I please have an invite to the preview programme, someone?

First impressions:

All that glossy plastic is gonna get scratched.

It's blooming huge and has a massive power brick as well

I like that it looks like a VCR, for some reason. It's giving me good memories of the one we had under my grandparents' TV 20 years ago.

No play and charge kit in the box! I don't know why but I assumed there would be one. The guy in GAME tried to sell me an extra game, an extended warranty, Gold and even Fallout 4 but didn't mention a play and charge kit, which is the only thing he had a chance of selling me.

I bought Wolfenstein: The Old Blood a few weeks ago with some credit that was going to expire and have Fast and Furious and Batman now, so that should keep me going for a while. ^_^

I wouldn't panic over a play & charge kit - you'll get a ridiculous amount of play out of the duracell that come with it.

I've added you and invited you to the preview. Please change gamerpic at some point - there's an avatar editor and a choice of presets. Those low resolution ones are so uncouth ;)

Will do. Getting it all slowly sorted as I fumble about the menus.

Maybe it's because it's the first time I'm doing anything but everything seems to take a while to load. Also the store is a bit confusing. Is there any way to see what I already own? The search is good but that and what the current games with gold aren't obvious.

edit: Every time I try to open the avatar editor it tells me something went wrong. :huh:
