The update kept failing.

Download, installed, peeview gets updates (but still enrolpending) instructions say stick a disc in,so i start mass effect install.

Reddit Say: For people wanting to try backwards compatibility that ain't in the preview programme, If you follow/friend somebody that is and has recently played a 360 game, Open up "popular with friends" on the dash on your Xbox one (clicking the three squares at the bottom), scroll through to a 360 game that they have played and you OWN, Click it and "view in store"

Just downloaded Geometry wars evolved and can confirm it works.

you should have seen what it was doing at the end of day one. Every time I tried to go back to AC:U, from the dash board, the top half of the screen was corrupt, the bottom half black. Then it would fade into AC:U. I wish my attempt to "xbox record that" had actually worked.

When you first boot the game is when it downloads and builds everything it needs to get 360 games running. It takes about 5 minutes and doesn't give you much information as to what it is doing but it's just a one time thing.

Just tried this and Geometry Wars is currently installing! No idea if it will actually work though, as surely I won't have the actual emulator in th OS.

And it works!! Started it and it took about 30seconds, then the xbox360 logo came up (which felt very strange) then it synced my profile and it was good to go. Works flawlessly, like some kind of witchcraft!

Good news for Xbox owners who planned to get MGSV and PES2016. Sounds like there's finally been some good optimisation done on the Fox Engine with the implementation of DX12...

The great info is that both games on Xbox One will be in 1080p/60fps. We heard that by Julien Merceron, involved in the development of Konami's Fox Engine. Thanks to the new SDK, developers were able to upgrade low resolution textures to high definition ones.

That's quite an improvement considering how poorly optimised Ground Zeroes and PES2015 were huh.

I bought a Bone today.

I've been happy with the PS4, but the Rare collection won me over. Plus I can now play some decent driving games - been enjoying Forza and Horizon, after two frustrating weeks with Drive Crud.

That's the only game I've been disappointed with - loved Bloodbourne in particular - but found that no fun at all, even though it looked very nice.
