I'll still stick with my standard pad that uses the adapter.main reason being is having the controls right there without having to let go of the pad.

I hated the 360 headsets when they changed to inline control instead of pad.

Definitely! I hated the inline control.

It does seem strange that that would be the only change. Is there much call for a 3.5'm Jack pad?

For new customers it's a good move as it means any headsets they already have will presumably work with the new pad. I assume Microsoft's own stereo headsets will be compatible as they have a standard plug that connects to their adaptor. I assume that there'll be some sort of onscreen volume control settings.

I wonder what the new pro controller will have - assuming it's not some mix up with this pad? I'm interested in the new pad but could do without having the cost of extra headsets hanging around - I've already got two chat headsets and the stereo headset.

"Holopets" :hat: this seemed the most appropriate place although it could be a W10 thing (undoubtedly it'll be both)

HoloLens is a seperate hardware platform effectively, it's self-contained. Old Kudo Tsunoda is coming back to E3, I assume to demo it, they also have Casey Hudson working on it now.

Kudo runs all the main game studios now apart from T10 and Black Tusk.

I know this is a massively narrow use case, but for any yank members here who happen to have Bing rewards, you can get an XB1 with MCC and 12 months of gold for $349. That's getting into serious impulse purchase territory.

I remember he gave the infamous Kinect Avatar demo where it glitched out, so he seemed likely to be back to demo HoloLens.

His ex-studio in Chicago were developing an open-world(ish) Marvel fighting game before EA killed them off, looked fairly far along from the footage from some show that surfaced a while back.

Is there any way of getting images you take on the Xbox off it and onto PC or something?

I read there was a way of storing them using the one drive app, but I installed that and still can't see how to move images to it.

There may be something wrong with my setup however as I don't seem to be able to save images either using the upload app.

Thanks!
