I tend to agree with this and prefer reading people talking about games without any console wars crap. However after some of the negative shit spewing from the mouths of forumites here like Haribo or Uncle Mike to name but two during the launch period and beyond, I can see why people like to revel in it whenever the shoe is on the other foot and I can't begrudge them that.

Have you forgotten what Boozy was like? If you want to play the blame game you need to look back further. Boozy was literally trolling in the PS4 thread as it was being revealed.

Whatever makes you happy I guess. I come to this thread seeing if there's anything that interests me enough to buy an xbox one, and it's great when there's a lot of positivity, but there's still this odd defensiveness surrounding it. It's 2 companies, it doesn't need the playground console warz. Dunno, comes across a little sensitive to me. Whatever - I look forward to E3 when hopefully the focus is on great exclusives. I just hope people don't revert to criticising the other megacorp rather than enjoying their own things to look forward to.

Moving on from boring fanboy talk, I just noticed I have a couple of Smite beta keys. I have no idea if the beta is still running (they're from May 14th and 21st) but if anyone wants them just send me a PM.

Like what? Black Tusk got re-appropriated to HD remake work instead of an original game, Phantom Dust is Phantom Dead, everything shown last year that was supposed to be out this year is now coming out next year. It's going to be shit.

Black Tusk are making Gears4. The HD remake is being handled by Splash Damage (I think).

It doesn't matter much if it didn't have many games as Bloodborne is THE best game I've played on any machine this generation, and one of the best of any generation. ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS CATEGORICALLY DEMENTED.

Anyways, I'd say the good to bad ratio is pretty similar for both Xbox One and PS4. Both of which have spent equally long periods sat on my shelf without being switched..

Bloodborne is definitely better than MK8, that's just a simple fact. Mostly because MK8 is stupid..

No comparisons were made other than the comparison of 'betterness'. And, for me, one is definitely better than the other. Much better. And, you know what, it's just idle chat isn't it? Nothing serious.

Witcher3 is better than both. :)

Tried Pool Nation FX again after the most recent patching round - what an improvement! The loading times are still a record worst though - GTA levels for a pool game. I hope it's not a sign of things to come with UE4.

I don't like Witcher 3 very much at all.

It's bloated, cumbersome, and more than a little boring to me (probably feels that way due to my attempting to play it whilst still on a Bloodborne high, but still). More prog rock than punk rock...

I like Bloodborne as much as the next guy, unless that guy is Mike S obviously. However to claim that it is better than both Witcher 3 and the greatest racing game of all time, rllmuk's very own GOTY 2014 Mario Kart 8 is nuts and said by someone who clearly has something wrong with them, which they do because they bought a PS4.

Which reminds me I really need to get back and beat BSB to make some progress.

Eurogamer: Looks like Microsoft will launch a new Xbox One controller in June, including a 3.5mm headphone jack.Presumably the announcement will be at E3.Didn't think it deserved a new thread, especially given the scant information currently available, but feel free to make one if you think differently.

I hope that's not the only difference between it and the current pad. I want to see the "pro gamer controller" that's been mooted.

Also, I like the adapter block. If this becomes standard, I hope there'll be a headset adapter adapter coming.
