Can anyone recommend one of those TV mount things for the kinect?

I ended up getting the PDP officially licensed one:

It was a bit more expensive than some of the others but it was hard to judge what the cheaper ones were like - for every good review there was one saying it was flimsy and rubbish so I played it safe.

It's pretty solid and doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

TV DVR functionality coming this year according to Polygon.

Remember the old days when this news would have been responded to with snarky "TV, TV, TV"

Everyone on my friends list spends 80% of their time watching TV, Netflix, iplayer, Demand 5, Amazon etc.... So this deserves "Megaton" in response.

Makes no difference to me I stopped watching live TV 10 years ago.

It means people are leaving their xbox on for the majority of their entertainment time rather than turning it off and it becomes the default device, which is what Microsoft were going for.

Is it a good thing?

Welp, took the plunge. Was wandering around town and saw the £279.99 Master Chief collection deal. My wife said she would pay for half of it. So I got it for £140 of my own money. Hurray.

One thing, am I doing something wrong with the headset? Damn thing will not fit in the controller.

Hello fellow Xbone owners. Just a quick one - I'm going to visit my family and my brother also has an Xbox One. If I wanted to take a couple of games to play, is there anything special I need to do to continue my saves? For example in Dragon Age: Inquisition, or Diablo III. Is it cloud based attached to my Gamertag or not that clever? I have Live Gold.

Yeah, it's cloud based, so just sign into your user and you'll be fine.

It does beg the question though, why aren't you and your brother game sharing?

Thanks guys, all sounding good.

As for game sharing - that implies we have interest in the same games, which we don't, at all! The only crossover has been Forza Horizon 2 and we both got that in our bundles. May look into it further though..

How to game share

1. Log in on both boxes with both gamertags.

2. Go to settings/My Xbox whilst logged in on the alternate box

3. Set alternate boxes as "My Xbox"

4. You can now share all digital content, games, movie subs, dlc, EA Access games, you can even play the same game together online. There are zero negatives to this.

The only negative I can think of is if you don't have an Internet connection or XBL goes down, you won't be able to play your games in that instance. To be fair though that's an incredibly rare occurance and doesn't deter me, but worth knowing about.

That's why it is best to alternate game purchases on each account. That way you still have access to some games if the internet goes down on both sides.
