Xbox live offline - these fuckstains apparently.

"We're doing these attacks to show everyone how bad big company's care about security. We as teenagers know how to fix their servers.Pathetic."

Not really a security concern though is it? Overloading servers with some scripts isn't really hacking through anyone's security, is it?

TOO. MANY. GAMES.

I remember it being brought up in a thread not so long ago, and somebody said there were far more games being launched on PS4. They must be drowning in games. It's crazy.

Free DLC for Kalimba coming next week as well as a PC version.

New Kalimba modes and DLC out on April 22!

Kalimba will receive a free major content update containing two new game modes for all current and future users. Llama Mode is a new, local multiplayer speed run mode in which up to six players can take turns competing for the highest score. Puma Mode allows players to race asynchronously against the ghosts of their friends or Hoebear (AI) for leaderboard dominance on any of 30 specially designed levels.
Press Play is also releasing two DLC packs for Kalimba: “Dark Void,” featuring a new game mechanic with 10 single-player levels; and “Co-Optimistic,” featuring 10 cooperative levels. Both DLC sets will be free to new and existing Kalimba owners until May 6, after which they will be available for $3.99 individually or $5.99 as a bundle.
In addition, Kalimba will launch on Windows PC via Steam on April 22 for $9.99. The PC edition will include Llama Mode and Puma Mode, as well as support for both gamepad and keyboard controls. Kalimba’s “Dark Void” and “Co-Optimistic” DLC packs will be available on Steam on April 22 for $3.99 each or together for $5.99.
Released late last year, Kalimba is a challenging side-scrolling platformer featuring both single-player and local two-person cooperative game modes. Players swap control between a pair of synchronized animated totems in order to navigate environmental puzzles, hazards and boss battles. The game features multiple totems and powers to master, a distinctive trixelated art style, and high score leaderboards.

I had a Toshiba 500Gb StorE from Tesco for about £30. Have since upgraded to a Seagate 1TB Backup Plus Slim which was about £50.

Any portable USB3.0/2.0 compatible drive should be fine AFAIK. It's just a case of finding one at an acceptable price.

I thought I accidentally clicked on a PC tech talk thread for a moment and thought hell had frozen over.

10% off The Witcher 3 preorders if you have Gold.

This is another game that's £45 (£40.49 with the discount) that's $60+tax in the USA, which seems to be becoming a little bit more regular.

£45 is $67.45 - admittedly the rate's pretty poor for GBP at the moment.

£45-20% VAT = £36

£36=$54.

Which actually means some digital Game prices in the UK are cheaper than in the USA, if you take tax out of the equation*. Surprising really. If you can buy your Xbox Credit with a bit of a discount, it might actually be cheaper/about the same to buy from the UK market for a while if the exchange rate doesn't change.

*not that anyone here's paying sales tax on the USA market, obvs.

Some people on GAF are suggesting that MS might have lost out on the COD marketing/promotion deal to Sony. It's not something that interests me much, but I can imagine that will be a big deal for some. Marketing wise hasn't Xbox been 'the COD console' since Modern Warfare?
