The absolutely stunning and it seems critically acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest is released tomorrow.

What are Microsoft like for releasing games bang on midnight? If it will definitely be ready to download in 2 hours I might get some caffeine in me and stay up. I've not been this excited about a game in a long time.

Has anyone had any issues with the latest update which was apparently available to all from today? I'm not sure q when mine would've updates but in settings then system mine says there's no update available yet when I go to try change the transparency of the tiles the option is there but it's not selectable??

It'll be getting rolled out. Not every console will get it on day one.

Just had my Alpha code through for "SMITE" and also got an extra one to give out ( they give you two) so if anyone wants it, drop me a PM, now to find out where the download button is :P

Dropped you a PM as I wouldnt mind giving that a try.. Probably way too late though.

Seemed a bit odd that the transparency thing was there but greyed out though. Anyway, checked and I had indeed got the latest update (unbeknown to me, I must have it on auto update as it happened this morning at half 7 and I was still in bed) and having had a bit of a play around it turns out you can only have transparent tiles if you have a custom background (ie a picture or screen grab) as opposed to just one of the solid colours that you can select. Bit odd but nowt new there eh :).

Oh and in other news I thought I'd give Halo MP another bash tonight, as much as anything out of curiosity as to how it would fare. Spot on as it turned out!! Found players and got me into games in no time at all and was a real reminder of how bloody good (when it's working) it is, genuinely had to force myself to go to bed :).

Can anyone tell me in simple steps how to get the clips I save in games onto Youtube so I can post them here? I save the clip, go into ULOAD Studio, edit and save, but then what?

Go to the YouTube app and once you have your account linked (you need to go to the website to get a code iirc) you can upload clips from there.

Ori and the Blind Forest should have been called Ori and the Blind game testers, it stops outputting video if you minimise it to the dashboard forcing a delete and re-install to make it work.

Always? Were you in game, in menu, in cutscene?

Most of Neogaf is rabidly anti Xbox so it doesn't surprise me that they've managed to interpret a series of events as only having the worst possible outcome.

Still, good news for you, Goonerforlife, you'll be able to enjoy Ori with less interruptions than you thought.
