Anyone else experience issues with their Kinects? Mine has been fine for a month or so since I bought it, then last night decided to switch off and won't power up anymore. I'm about to contact Microsoft but just thought I'd check in case there was something I could try in addition to switching everything off and back on again.

Yeah it just says Kinect isn't plugged in. Microsoft online help friendly but no actual assistance. And if I want the advance replacement thingy I need to actually phone them so have to wait till morning when they're open. Amazing how quickly you miss not needing to find the remotes to turn stuff on and off. Took me ages last night to realise I couldn't change channel on the tv because the Kinect wasn't blasting it's IR signal everywhere.

I had the exact same problem, I tried all the 'fixes' but none of them worked. In the end I sent it off to Microsoft and they replaced it. My suspicion is that it's something caused by the most recent update as it was after that mine stopped working properly.

Yeah I realised last night that I'd just joined the preview program which may have an effect. Don't know about dash updates, even if it informs you when you switch on after an update my kids are first to turn on in the morning for the TV so they won't have noticed or told me.

Hey, just checked out Ori and the Blind forest and cuphead. Tempted to buy an xbox one once they are both out. Are there any similar exclusives in the pipeline? I.e games with gorgeous 2D visuals and old school gameplay.

Don't overlook these three very interesting ones already out too

Is it just me or is shipping this with a digital download code a bit of a misstep? Sure, it means everybody has the game forever and really if you own an XB1 you should have this game but that's 59-60GB they're asking people to download. Massive.

Yeah, it's pretty dumb. They clearly haven't thought about what it's going to be like trying to set it up for the first time.

Only for it to be a bit random as to whether the MP even works. Tried to get a game last night and after it twice spending 20 min's searching for a game called it a day. Just tried it again (knowing that I was about to post this) and it's fine, 2 min's tops to get a game and be playing it. Cracking game when it's working as it's meant to, but I'd say it's a patch or two from being fixed. Is that really what they want to be giving to people who've just bought a bone and waited an age for the (presumed) download?!?

If QB is pushed back it'd be true to Remedy form. I assumed it was much closer to completion than it evidently is though. Good that Microsoft are prepared to support the project for so long, I guess.

If not, you can buy a standard black console and download the game for a near identical experience.
