After 6 months of having no Xbox One (clicking drive day of release then gave up the ghost 6 months ago) my new console comes tomorrow :) Can't wait to have it back, bought COD AW, Shadow Of Mordor, Forza Horizon 2, Evil Within and Far Cry 4 all that I haven't even seen footage of before so I'm proper excited !

I've been to upset to come in this thread for months so I'm a bit out of the loop, anything on the horizon look good ?

xbox rewards are doing the offer again (which didn't work for me last time) so you can get 25,000 reward points (£15) in your microsoft account if you make an xbox rewards account/sign up to it, buy a console and activate it as your home console between now and 8th of march, so if anybody is picking an xbox one up, or already has one but hasn't set it up, pleae do pm me your gamertag or message me on live and i'll shoot you a referral and we'll both get 15 squids!

here's the criteria -

  • 1. Sign up for Xbox Live Rewards (if you are not already a member)
  • 2. Purchase an Xbox One between 1 February 2015 through 8 March 2015
  • 3. Register it as your home console
  • 4. Log in to Xbox Live with your Gamertag
  • 5. Receive 25,000 Rewards Credits!

I would be up for this - my Xbox one arrived yesterday and I've yet to unpack it - however I'm not going to be able to activate it until my broadband is switched on (10th). Is there a way I can activate it as my home console via PC?

i don't think so karzee, it's an option on the settings menu on the console itself. i guess you mean the 10th of march for your nets? i'll send you the referral just in case as i can do more than one. maybe there's a way to tether mobile internet for the purpose of setting up the console but i'd imagine thats a bit of effort :(
